Reviews for The Brick Tavern Inn in Quakertown, PA
Great location and food. We sat on the outside patio for lunch for a group lunch with 10 people. Wings and potstickers were... solid and the hummus platter was good too. I tried the duck club sandwich- it was unique and tasty. A few friends had thePilgrim sandwich and the Turkey Rachel, and other enjoyed the Bethlehem Pike and Greek salad salads. Everything was fresh andwell prepared. The service was great even though the place was very busy. Great place would definitely go back Read more
Wife & I went to The Brick Tavern Inn recently for our anniversary. Had reservations for 7PM and we arrived promptly at 6:55. We... were seated quickly and waitress came shortly thereafter to bring menus & take drink order. Waitress said someone else would bebringing bread, rolls, and water soon. More than 30 minutes later, NO water, rolls, no person, including waitress, came to thetable. The dining room we were in was only about 1/3 occupied, very slow night. I couldn't even find the waitress or any otheremployee to flag down to ask about the situation. Finally, after about 45 minutes I went to the bar to the ask bartender tocheck on our service. Finally things began to move, but it was a long night due to inattentive service. The food was excellent,it is worth 5 stars - for the food alone. But the poor service on a slow night was 2 star at best. combining the food ratingwith service rating, I can only give this mediocre review, and 3 stars is stretching it. Read more
Totally awesome as was our server Lisa! Food was really good as was the ambiance. The outside seating area was gorgeous. Overall... just a really great experience that we were lucky enough to find while on a family road trip. Thanks for a great time! Read more
A gem in the Quakertown PA area. Nice menu and great cocktails. The outside dining area is the best locally.
We wanted to give the Brick Tavern Inn one more shot after having some of the worst barbecue sauce I've ever had on their... brisket. Seriously it tastes like ketchup with a tiny dash of vinegar. It's absolutely dreadful. That being said, we wanted togive it one more try so we went last night. We were seated and our orders taken at 6:50pm and we're not served our orders until8: 25pm. The restaurant was not that busy. The spring rolls of the night were filled with ham that you would find in a salad andcheese, which was an odd combination in the first place. They were edible. I ordered the chicken parmesan which again was ediblebut very soggy without a lot of flavor. My partner paid $35 for a strip steak that was possibly one of the driest steaks I'veever eaten. He was so disappointed. Overall, I definitely cannot recommend the restaurant even though the atmosphere is charmingand a great place to take a date. The wait time for food, the server coming back only once for a refill on our sodas, andextremely mediocre food just isn't worth it. Read more
This is my new go-to place in Quakertown for a spectacular take out meal. From the first call in to pick up, excellent service.... It's so rare to see people care this much. Perfecto! Read more
Nice place, with some minor hiccups. The crab cakes were a bit cold, and the Pinot Grigio I was served was way too cold to be... have taste. The tuna dish is really good, as the filet. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was not full. Overalla good place to stop by for a bite. Read more
After close to 20 years of going to The Brick Tavern on a regular basis, Covid had us switching to their Take Out menu. All... continued to be up to their standard and was most enjoyable. Last night changed all that. The famous Crispy Green Beans wereundercooked and covered in what seemed to be unflavored cornmeal. The Pilgrim Sandwich [described as sliced house smokedturkey, coleslaw, Swiss cheese & Thousand Island dressing on whole wheat or brioche roll] when we got it home was actually:lettuce and tomato, turkey, bacon with a pink cranberry flavored mayonnaise. Nor did it come with the promised French fries. This is an order that we have purchased both in house and take out, so we are well aware how it is supposed to taste. What hashappened to the kitchen?
