Great little place for a Sunday afternoon drink. Friendly bartender. Good menu.
Disappointment. I got up to play some music. When I returned to my seat, my drink was touched, my water was fiddled with, and my... sunglasses - and their case - were gone. So, I listened to what I paid for, knowing that never again will I return to thisdisappointment of a place. What makes it disappointing? What happened. But, moreover, that the character of the bartender andthose there who were her regulars would so cheapen themselves that they collectively would facilitate such egregious violationsof a customer, actively and passively. As I am new to Puyallup, and intend to be here for some time, doing what was done to mewas poor judgment. And bad business. Disappointment, thy new name is Scotty's Grub and Pub - where you can forget about it beinga pub (it is not) and the character of the people is "Grub"-by. Avoid. It's just as you would expect an old bar to be like. Soft spots in the floor throughout. Beers on tap. Full bar. Good service.... Tons of regulars. The food is excellent. The clam chowder threw me for a loop when I first tried it. It was absolutely amazingtho. Just not clam chowder like I'm used to back home. Read more
I'm appalled at the way we were treated at this bar. They had the door opened and wind was whipping thru and was very cold. We... asked the bartender Torrin if he could please close the door. We were 5 people and there were 3 other people there. BartenderTorrin became hostile to us despite us asking nicely and said we should leave and he would cover tab. We agreed to leave but hekept being verbally abusive to us. Then he called us ugly names. We contacted owner but he sided with the bartender. Its ashame. Bartender Jen made a special apple martini for me on St. Patrick's day that was very festive and gorgeous. Small bar that has... prompt drink and food service, good atmosphere. Love that each table has its own roll of paper towels, I often need them.Multiple TVs, pool tables, darts and an jukebox with a huge variety of new and old music. Read more
I love this little dive bar. I met some of my favorite people here. They are very accommodating and friendly. Angie does a great... job sanitizing and keeping up with covid regulations and she makes a mean burger. Definitely try the Hotty Scotty it's deliciousalong with sweet chili coleslaw, which is to die for. If I lived here this would be my go to bar. Or if you are just looking fora great local place to hang out. Read more
