I?m an immigrant from Japan and I can say this place is my favorite. I?ve lived in South Hill for more than 10 years but had... have a hard time finding my ?favorite? Teriyaki place but now I found it! Thank you for coming to our town! First of all, theirprice is very reasonable. Everything is so expensive nowadays but their price is very good. Secondly, they don?t have too manymenu that could confuse you, especially if you are not too familiar with Asian food. But they have many selections for your?sides?. I like it. Cabbage is like pickled and pink, so you should know that before you pick it without looking at what itis. Lastly, their Yakisoba is good. I never find any good Asian restaurants in the US that have good yakisoba (chow mien) andit was always better if I just cook it myself but their yakisoba is good and I?ll probably order it every time. Suggestion tothe owner: Maybe consider adding fried rice for sides? Read more

Excellent! Simple menu done well. Have only had the spicy chicken, but it?s amazing from first bite to last. Have had it several... times now and not one gristly or fatty piece. Sides are great too. High quality, simple menu - done well. Read more

Not very good at all both me and my wife couldn't get thru more than a few bites before throwing it away. The white rice and... sauce were good but the yakisoaba was only warm and only seasoned with light oil and no veggies, not very appetizing. Thechicken just tasted boiled and no seasoning and the brisket was over marinated and could only taste the marinate. Was hoping formore. Read more

Immediately after entering we were greeted by good music and a friendly staff. The menu is simple but great. I got yakisoba,... grilled veggies, and broccoli as my base and then tofu as my protein. They DO NOT skimp on portions either! A very generousportion of everything. And what really sets this place apart from other teriyaki places is that the food isn't too sweet.Usually most teriyaki sauces are too much but this one was well balanced. And I got the spicy sauce which provided a nice warmnote on the tongue every now and then. It was great place to get lunch. Great staff, nice vibes, and yummy food! Read more

Checked out the new teriyaki place in our area and all I can say is its just okay. They cook food behind the line and then... transfer it to the line in warming trays. So its not cooked to order. The spicy chicken was very tasty but all the veggies I goton the side were just warm, mainly due to them not being cooked to order. With other teriyaki places around that cook hot foodto order I would unfortunately skip this place from now on. Read more
