My fiancé and I stayed here for 2 nights so we could go skiing at Hunter Mountain. We didn?t get there till 1:30am on Friday... night and they were there to greet us with a smile! The room was cozy. Breakfast was awesome! Fresh made, hot, blueberry muffinsboth mornings, fresh fruit, pancakes, French toast, eggs, and fresh coffee?.it was delicious! After skiing all day, we came backand sat at the bar and had a great burger and drinks and spoke to the locals and the owner for a while! The owners are superfriendly!! We would stay again! We stayed one night with our dog at Bavarian Manor. The hotel itself is beautiful as is the surrounding countryside. Staff... were friendly at check in and nice to our dog, who got a welcome package with a chew toy and some treats. The room was a littlesmall, but clean and comfortable and served our needs. Due to the pandemic, the restaurant was closed and breakfast was servedpretty late, so we didn't stick around. Overall, a beautiful old hotel that makes a nice stay in the Catskills, especially iftraveling with a dog. Read more
The setting was beautiful, the service was amazing and the people were the nicest you?d ever meet. My husband and I planned a... one night stay but loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The breakfast was delicious and even though the full servicerestaurant wasn?t open the bar food was fantastic. My husband had homemade potato salad and the bratwurst one night and theburger the next. All were delicious. I got hand-battered chicken tenders and French onion soup. The tenders def turned into twomeals and the soup was mouth watering. The bar is very lively and cozy and serves as a local watering hole. We met many localpatrons who make you feel right at home. Not to mention the staff is very down to earth. The owner, Stan, was a delight. He waspersonable and friendly and made sure to chat with us for a while over dinner at the bar. It was a great experience all around! Read more
