Worst Dunkin? Donuts EVER! Every time I attempt to go there to pick up my ALREADY PAID FOR online order (and yes, it?s during... open business hours), it?s closed. Online it says they?re supposed to be open until 8:00pm 7 days a week & several times I?vearrived in between 6:15pm -7:30pm and they?re already closed? but my card was charged at the time I placed the order?! Really?Mind you, I ALWAYS 100% of the time place my order while I?m in the parking lot. So it?s not like it?s placed hours ahead oftime. I?m so sick of this happening (6 times to be exact) so that?s approx. $30 of my money GONE. Do they care? NO. Have I everbeen able to speak to a manager or get a refund? NOPE. Sure haven?t! I?m a local employee at a neighboring restaurant that Ideliver pizza for and I?ll say I won?t ever be coming back to this dump. The employees at Starbucks across the street however?nicest people you?ll ever meet! I even bring them free pizzas and I tip well too! Here?s a tip to the manager: HIRE COMPETENTKIDS bc the ones you got working for you are worthless and lazy. They don?t apologize or offer any sort of solution. Im not sure if this dunkin donuts in purcellville is under new management or what but ive been here before when there was... females running the drive thru and NEVER had a problem with my donuts!! Until this past week theres been different peoplerunning it and everytime this is how i get my donuts, with the icing half falling off. I simply asked for 2 vanilla sprinkleddonuts & this is what i received without them letting me know they didn't have any more vanilla sprinkled. Only good thing aboutmy order is my sweet tea! What a horrible experience That I wanted to give 0 star if positive. The store hours is 5am-8pm and I came at 7:45pm to get one... donut for my 5 years old son and they have their door locked. Lights were turned off and someone was mopping the floor opens thedoor to tell us that they are closed already. I told them that my son just wanted one donut and the girl with the long blondhair behind the Register shout out ?nope! Can?t..? very rude and poor customer service. MOBILE APP ORDER SCAM Please be aware that this location will not refund items you ordered on the mobile app that you did not... receive. On 2 different days, I placed a mobile order of donuts and coffee for pickup. The first time, I just picked up myorder and left, not realizing they only actually gave me half the number of donuts I paid for. They didn't say anything aboutthe missing products when I went in for my order. The 2nd mobile order I checked the donut box, again, without the staffalerting me items were missing from the order. It only had half the number ordered, and when I asked for the rest they said theywere out of donuts. I then asked for a refund, and was told they only do refunds through the app, and cannot refund in store.Staff never offered an apology, and they were not upfront about the missing items either. I contacted the app and afterexplaining the situation, they ended up sending the refund request right back to the store. Please do NOT go to this Dunkin,they are always "out" of whatever item you order and pretend they can't offer refunds. When you're talking about $5-10 issues,it's small to the consumer but it will add up for the store. Please use your money elsewhere, this is scummy and pathetic. Read more
There was a 2 Signature lattes for $6 on the menu, and the store manager refused to honor it because the promotion expired.... However, the sign was still up, so we were confused as to why it was still up but theyre not going to honor it (when I worked atDick?s sporting goods, they along with practically every other store has a policy about honoring a sign because that?s not thefault of the customer, that?s the fault of us for not checking the sign). The manager Tasha was so unbelievably rude about it,clapping her hands at us saying there?s nothing she can do and it?s not her fault. The person taking our order was caught in themiddle and I felt so bad for him, he had nothing to do with it. We wouldn?t have had a problem with the menu change if it wereexplained calmly, and if Tasha didn?t have such an attitude like we were genuinely causing her emotional trauma for askingquestions. I?m very empathetic to service workers, as I?ve worked as a sales associate and customer service rep for ~5 years.But no matter how bad my days got, I wouldn?t have acted out like that to any customers. When we asked for a refund, she snappedagain and took 7 minutes to return to the window. When we asked for her name she laughed and just said, ?that?s not gonna getyou nowhere?. We submitted an order for curbside pickup and they didn?t let us know until bringing out our order that they were out of egg for... the sandwiches. So essentially no sandwiches available. We asked for a refund and were told to do it on the app. When we askedhow they were unsure and said they?d send out their manager, who had no idea how to do it either. She said we could go throughthe drive thru line and wait and they could refund us there. We agreed then realized the drive thru line was full of 10 cars anddecided I?d rather lose the $7.78 than wait for 10 cars and probably get to the window and have them not know what they?redoing.
