We went to Pi Local when visiting the area. The pizza was so good, we drove an hour several more times just to have it. The... other food we had was also excellent. We love Pepe\'s Pizza in New Haven, CT and this definitely was in that class. Didn\'t takea picture of the pizza but, this panini was AMAZING!!! Looking forward to visiting again just for the pizza! My buddy at work told me the chicken wings are really good now so thought I would give the restaurant another try. We arrived... on a Saturday at 6pm. We were the only customers eating in and I understand why. The music was so load and the banging of metalfrom the kitchen prevented us from having a conversation. However, many folks seemed to like their pickup orders as we saw manycome.\n\nWe ordered 6 BBQ Honey wings, Stromboli, and classic pizza. The stromboli was good and meaty surprisingly large. Thewings were again soggy skin instead of a crispy skinned wing. We have mixed feelings as we felt the overall food ranked 2 stars; however, the staff,location, cleanliness, menu was 5 stars. My wife had a Caprese Panini and said it was very bland. She ate half and left therest. I had the honey BBQ wings. The wings were huge, but for wings big is not always best. One of my wings was undercooked. Theskin was on and they were baked. Had the gluten free crust. Not bad. Too many olives tho and way too much cheese. But overall it was a good experience and... everyone was really nice. Just would love for employees to be trained better to handle people with dietary restrictions likeceliacs etc? Read more
Had a thin crust Meats pizza. The crust was very tasty, although a little soggy in the center - I had to do the fold thing to... get it to my face. The pepperoni and sliced meatball toppings were great - the ham was great too, but the flavor didn\'t quitemesh with the other toppings. The crust and cheese were hot and cooked thru, but the toppings were more like luke warm. Theiroven is super hot and cooks quickly, but maybe not it\'s not long enough to heat the larger toppings. We drive out of the way to get our pizza from PiLocal! We have also had a great experience with all the pizzas we have tried.... Our favorite is the Brie and Pear but we tried the white pizza this last weekend and it was amazing! We happened to dine whilethere was live music on the patio and it was such a nice break in the day to enjoy some fresh pizza, some live music and alsounlimited mimosas! We can?t wait to come back and will try another new pizza this time around. Read more
First time here! We need more restaurants in this area! Thank you for opening Pi! I ate a late lunch, ordered the turkey panini.... It was very good! The customer service was excellent and friendly. I?m am so excited for a great pizza place to open up locally. The seasonal beer was fantastic. The wings were crispy on the... outside and juicy on the inside, perfect! Not to mention the amazing pizza cooked in a true brick oven. When you enter therestaurant you are stunned by the beautiful interior. The staff are wonderful and you will be greeted by smiling faces! Our family loves Pi Local pizza! The kids are picky when it comes to pizza and this is their favorite so far. Our adult favorite... is their white pizza. Cute place. Can get really crowded. Everyone likes their pizza different but this one is definitely wortha try. Read more
