Manatees is a punta Gorda landmark, located in the old PG Icehouse. Nothing but friendly staff and great pizza, subs, and pasta.... Very fair prices, great daily specials! The joint could use an update on decor, but it doesn't change the fact that the staff isfast and friendly and we love their pizza! Best garlic knots in all of Florida! Yes to fresh daily dough. Yes to freshly cut 100% Mozzarella Cheese. Yes to the perfect crust. Yes to the generous amount of... veggies on the Medium Supreme Pizza. My only concern was that my large Spinach salad needed more Spinach, otherwise very filling& yummy meal. This style Pizza reminds me of Brooklyn style crust, not doughy but definitely not thing crust, just right. Read more
We love this place. Friday Saturday are 15.00 pie night. Being from the St Louis area it?s our go to when craving IMOs it?s... close as we get. The food was amazing. Someone told us we had to try the cheesy garlic bread and they were right. Everything was delicious. Would... totally go back! The garlic bread with cheese is amazing. The Spinach dip is really good. We got a 18" pizza with sausage andpepperoni and it was delicious, thin pizza, needed a fork to eat it, but still a nice crispy bottom. Excited for the leftovers! We had steak Phillys and fries today and both were absolutely delicious. The bread was crunchy and there was plenty of filling... and gooey cheese. The fries were crisp and very tasty. I was surprised to learn that they were baked. So good! Great littleplace! Read more
