Reviews for The Yellow Deli at the Heritage House in Pulaski, TN
Talk about an amazing atmosphere!! Now the food is something you have to be very keen on, as in you need to know what you like... before ordering. For me, I'm picky with certain textures and tastes, and I stick with what I love: savory and sweet. Andtherefore, I've always gotten the Country Ranch every time I've been there; my parents have had an adverse reaction when theywanted to try something out of their comfort zone, so just a warning. Another precaution, if you are one of those impatienttypes of people, don't come here; you're going to waiting quite a bit to get out of there. However, if you don't mind spendingan hour or two eating and talking, this place is perfect! Also, the waiters and waitresses are nice. Please give this place avisit if you are in the area! Read more
What a cool place. I should have taken pictures of the food but we were hungry and ate it right away. The Reuben was... delicious. We sat upstairs and learned that this building was an old house built in the late 1800's. Everything inside hasbeen built from reclaimed old barnwood and the decor is amazing. I highly recommend a visit here! Read more
We have driven by Yellow Deli so many times but the last few times they were closed unfortunately, but then...they were open on... our last trip to Pulaski so we went in. The restaurant is quirky and absolutely beautiful at the same time. They have done anamazing job with the look af the restaurant. It is very whimsical. We were sat at a great little table near a window. Greetedby 2 very nice men. Then we reviewed the menu and selected to have the bowl of chili with jalapeño corn bread. The hubs had apastrami and corned beef sandwich and I had a buffalo chicken sandwich. They do not serve sodas, other than homemade root beerso the hubs had that and I had water. The chili was out of this world and so were the jalapeño cornbread muffins. The meat inthe chili was so tender, it melted right in your mouth. The cornbread was soft and moist with real pieces of corn in it. Notover powered by the jalapeños. My sandwich was great. The bread was very soft and the chicken was super tender, melted in yournot with a hint of Buffalo and super cheesy! The hubs sandwich unfortunately he said was just ok. The 2 meats that should bepacked full of flavor were lacking that at all. So he was underwhelmed with it. I enjoyed mine immensely and we both very muchenjoyed the chili. We would definitely go back. He just would not order that sandwich again. But all and all it was agreat meal! Read more

What a delightful experience! Communities like this do not exist very often! It's a great place just to visit! Even better for... tea, coffee, or food! They also have all kinds of pre wrapped deserts for sale, along with a gift shop with handmade productsincluding soaps, oils, teas etc. God bless this place and all that inhabit it! Honestly I feel like I'm in middle earth at somelodging or restaurant that belongs in a Tolkien book! Read more
Best veggie burger ever. It was hot, had avocado as a bonus. The photo shows just 1/2 so you can see the contents.
An amazing time. I will definitely be back. This place was beautiful inside and out. The food was great and the atmosphere was... perfect for the decor. I felt like I was transported to a secluded rustic community instantly upon walking in. And the paintinggoing upstairs was entrancing. Worth every penny. Read more
