My boyfriend & I came to Tennessee to visit family. He being from Tacoma, Wa. & myself from Las Vegas it was the most pleasant... and enjoyable experience we both have had in quite a long time. We both travel a lot and dining out is part of our routine tokeep the fire burning if you would... through God, and a comforting meal. This place delivered JUST THAT! That fried chickenwith honey was decadent and mouthwatering. My boyfriend raved all night about that blackened catfish! And the best part... weare not big on alcohol, but we thought, "why not, we are free of our children and on a date night!" We had their Peach Punchwhich ended our night with tapping out generously with a full belly & a satisfying meal. We are definitely keeping thisbeautiful GEM in our pockets, and will be coming back more often. We stopped here on a recommendation from a lady at the local Wal-Mart(thank you, btw!). When you walk in the door you are... greeted by a wonderful staff and a very laid back atmosphere! We both got the ?Hot Chicken Sandwich?, one with fries and theother with the bacon mac and cheese. I give the food 5 stars! We also got a bourbon sour and mule. Great drinks. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. Everything was perfect.
Absolutely amazing servers and food. I started with a Bloody Mary. The seasoning on the rim complimented the smoked bacon... perfectly. As usual I like to mix things up. I could not decide between Southern Benedict or Hot Chicken Biscuits. I ended upwith Southern Hot Chicken Benedict. The hollandaise balanced the hot chicken and made my taste buds begging for more. Great service. Had biscuits for an appetizer and the pimento bacon burger. Probably the best burger I?ve had in a long time.... Food came out quick and was tasty. Girlfriend had the catfish and it was great as well. Had a blast. Next time I?ll try thefried green tomatoes. Read more
