The atmosphere when walking into this restaurant is amazing. The decor is of the sea life from a lighthouse perspective. My wife... and I had the haddock dinners with coffee and a dessert we took home. We had our dinner there and took dessert home. Very tastyhaddock, very well prepared, with awesome seasoned fries and baked beans with a hint of maple flavor. It was great. Money wiseis very competitive to other fish restaurants but the decor puts it above the rest. Highly recommend. The service was verycomfortable and polite and attentive. Awesome place. Read more
This is a delightful establishment. From the moment you enter you have their attention. Service is polite and genuine from the... hostess to the waitress. I was alone and they were busy but had no problem seating me without delay. My breakfast, eggs over,hash browns, ham, and toast was well prepared, hot and nicely presented. I asked for a fruit bowl that was not on the menu andthey prepared a nice fresh bowl of strawberries, blueberries and sliced oranges. Coffee served in a large ceramic mug was freshand full bodied. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this little hometown place right across from Selkirk Shores Beach. My aunt and I had... the Buffalo Blue Burger and my mom had the lasagna. Portions were huge. We took home enough for lunch the next day. They had ashowcase of homemade cakes and pies. Good place for a great meal. Read more
Happened across Lakeside restaurant in search of breakfast on a morning motorcycle ride. Extremely pleased with food and... service. The entire staff personable and friendly. The homemade hash is absolutely delicious. If you are in searchdiscovering a new place to eat, Lakeside restaurant will not disappoint. Highly recommend Breakfast (served All-day). I Will return for lunch, dinner or perhaps take the nice ride for ice cream as ice cream is served via outside window, 3 thumbs ????up for this establishment. Read more
Stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the corned beef hash and cheese omelet. I thought it was delicious. The hash was so good,... it would have made a great meal on its own. The coffee was good and the waitress did a great job of keeping my cup full. Thedessert case has several cakes and pies in it. If they taste half as good as they look, then I'm sure they'refabulous. My husband and I went to the Lakeside for a late night dinner. Although we came in at closing time on Sunday night, we never... felt rushed with our order. Quite opposite, we were encouraged to enjoy our time and our meal together by the amazing stuff whowere chatting with us all the time. Dinner was delicious, everything was freshly made and cooked to perfection. Service wasexcellent, very accommodating and caring. Relaxing music was just a cherry on top.
