Best sandwich I've had in 20 years. I had a turkey pastrami on rye. Everything was very fresh & the lettuce was a nice leafy... green lettuce. But the bread! Magnificent! They make it on site and you just don't find rye bread that fresh and expertly madeanymore. It took me back to my childhood when food was homemade, fresh and frankly, better than what's out there now. This placeis a real gem! Read more

Karissa... and her staff are particularly good at making their artisanal products taste superior in all respects. Great Pueblo deli! That's all they do is deli. It's as close to a New York Style Deli as you will get in Pueblo, and I've lived... in NYC, I know. Their sandwiches are basic, but so yummy and good! The meats they have are so good. They have specificSandwiches, but can make you anything you want. Their windows are high and bright, and seating is vast and the whole place feelsairy and mellow. This is a picture of their buffalo chicken sandwich. The description of blue/ranch dressings and seasoned chicken is barely... attributable to the one I received. It is not a buffalo chicken sandwich, but a minimum wage worker's conception of one. It isa mound of finely sliced chicken with hardly any dressing or seasoning. You need to google a picture of a buffalo chickensandwich. Check food.com if you can't figure it out. Read more
I was in Pueblo for work and on my way back to Colorado Springs, I decided to look for a local sandwich shop. Schlepe's came up... on Google as highly recommended. I must say that the environment was quaint, quiet, and comfortable. I really enjoyed my diningexperience. They have a really good menu of sandwiches and other items. I had the pastrami sandwich. It was a little moreexpensive but it had a lot of meat and tasted amazing. I had the potato salad as a side. It had an interesting lemony flavor toit. I highly recommend Schlep's Sandwiches to anyone living in or visiting Pueblo. You will not regret this experience! Read more
