I remember Maverick being a little tiny convenience store. The rate they have grown is inspiring. I love how Maverick really is... a stop to pretty much cover most anything needed. Was getting gas inside and the cashier didn?t give me a chance to put my number in for discount. And I said oh I wanted to put... gas discount number in and he said oh well and I made a face expression like I?m sad wanting to save some money. Then I walkedaway forgetting they have a authorization code to use gas pump then turn around to get it and the same cashier said don?t eventhink about it don?t mess with me. I said back to him what?s your problem I didn?t even say anything to you. That guy is verydisrespectful for no reason. The cashier has long beard and some grays. Mavericks all tend to be pretty close to the same. This one however is always just a bit better stocked, better cleaned and just... all around has a better feel to it... Maybe it's because I frequently stop here or maybe that's the reason I stop here... Eitherway the parking lot is huge, the store is clean and it's right off the center st. Exit... This Maverik has 20 gas pumps! I?ve never had to wait to get gas here because of the number of pumps. I don?t know how many... diesel pumps there are but with the number of regular pumps I?m sure you?re not going to have to wait. All the pumps are coveredso that is great for the wet months. The snacks inside this are definitely of high Maverik quality! If you live anywhere onCenter Street in Provo and you are heading to i15 this is a great location to stop at and get gas. Read more
So, there has been a new remodel for the store, which is surprising because the store was relatively new. From what I've... noticed, they've raised the ceiling on the gas pumps, so that larger trucks fit in without any problems. I was hoping theywould add ethanol-free gas, but my wishes were not granted. They pretty much just updated the look inside of the new Maverik,by adding some more soda fountains, and redesigning the look of the bonfire grill. Looking back at past photos, I don't thinkall that much has changed, outside of just how it looks... Still the same items as before. Customer service at this location isgenerally pretty good, and today was no different. There are a few store opening sales, and it was nice to save a few pennies. Read more
I love Maverik. Literally the best gas station and convenience store in the US. The food is most excellent and fantastic... quality, especially when compared to other convenience stores. The gas and diesel are always competitively priced. You can get ahuge selection of food, candy, drinks, coffee, beer, etc... There is an ATM inside. You can get firewood, ice, or propane here.Lots of options. Read more
Maverik gas station are almost always the nicest gas stations. Nice, fresh(as in it was made within the hour), warm food wasn't... special but doesn't taste like normal gas station food. Good coffee with a variety of flavors and syrups. Bathrooms were mostlyclean and super freezing cold. Like bring a thick coat. The toilet seats felt like they gave off their own cold climate cuz mybutt didn't warm it at all. Staff was normal and spoke to us like normal people. I will always go out of my way for a Maverik! Sure, it's the only place I go for fountain drinks. But I've never gotten anything at their "bonfire grill". That is, until I... saw the breakfast quesadillla. I was going to hit McDonald's for a McMuffin. But I thought... it's three bucks and I don't haveto drive anywhere else. But here's the secret people: this sausage and egg quesadilla is the stuff of legend. The pick is freshwith a kick and the quesadilla is fat and big. It far and away exceeds my expectations.
