Reviews for The Red Inn in Provincetown, MA
We did not stay at this inn but had dinner in the restaurant. The view, dinner and service were excellent. This restaurant is... direct waterfront. Although a bit loud, it was a great place to have dinner. We both had the Scallops that were served pipinghot and delicious. It was an enjoyable evening and we recommend it. Read more
Stopped in for an after dinner drink. Good news: the drinks were very good! Bad news: we were curtly informed by the... bartender that we could not take a seat at the bar, as the seats were reserved for dinner only. The hostess had said that wecould order drinks as the bar, as they had no cocktail server for the evening. Fair enough, but she did not say that we wouldhave to take our drinks outside in the rain. NOT a pleasant experience. And expensive. I can?t speak to the food, but I wouldrecommend another choice for after dinner drinks. Read more
We had an amazing dinner at The Red Inn last night. Walked in without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us at the... bar (which we love) Bob & Harrison were fantastic as usual. The specials were delicious. One of our favorite spots in town! Read more
The Red Inn is a gorgeous, refined restaurant with a breath-taking view of the ocean that blows a nice and refreshing breeze in... the large rooms while people are enjoying a stunning meal. The menu is peculiar and elegant, and every dish is constantlyexecuted to perfection, with extreme attention to details. Cocktails and wine selection are also spot on, while the service iscourteous, professional, and knowledgeable. By far the best restaurant in Provincetown, definitely one of the best in CapeCod. Everything on the menu is extremely delicious, but the duck and pork shank are to die for. Read more
Nice views but that?s where the positives end. The manager was extremely rude and sarcastic to us after he requested that we... change tables after we had just been seated 3 minutes before. I politely declined and he proceeded to be entirelyunprofessional. And by the way, the food isn?t that great (neither are the ?happy hour? prices), so save your money and goelsewhere. Read more
It?s hard to find a restaurant on the water with parking and delicious food prepared with love. The Red Inn has both and then... some. Anna, our server for the evening was attentive and took very good care of us. My partner and I both ordered the filetmedium rare and it was outstanding and cooked to perfection. Perfectly seasoned and delivered with delicious mashed potatoesand grilled asparagus. If you take a moment to take in the entire restaurant experience at The Red Inn, you will notice a lot offine dining details that set them apart from others. Fresh linens, servers dressed in uniforms that are appropriate for thesurroundings, and they all have a crumbing tool. Everyone is professional and friendly, and yet they have been highly tuned tothe small details of good, traditional service. I?ve been here multiple times and highly recommend The Red Inn. Make sure youmake a reservation! Read more
Lanna was a fantastic server absolutely amazing accommodating our every request. She was a delightful girl working to pay for... nursing school. Just when we thought the service was already over the top. A botanist that they conveniently have on staff walksover with a fresh glass of water and pruners to trim my Peony we had purchased up the street. WOW!!! The oysters were absolutelyperfect. We came for happy hour and stayed for 3 courses. Refreshing cocktails and mouth watering food. I highly recommend thepicnic table out front it's private and you can people watch. We had a wonderful afternoon there. Read more
