My husband and I were able to get a last minute table overlooking the water at the end of dinner service and was I glad they... squeezed us in (bistro level)! It was dark lit with tiny lights around the ceiling to make it seem magical at twilight. We wenttapas style dinner with the lobster dumplings, burrata and peach salad and jumbo shrimp cocktail. Oh, the cocktails! They hitthe spot perfectly. I'd have to return for proper dinner to see if it can hit the -star mark but all in all it was a fabulousmeal! Read more

The Mews was overall a positive experience. The host was very attentive to our needs, and made sure we were settled in swiftly.... The waitress was kind, and she treated the restaurant as if it were her kitchen. For the food, my partner and I ordered thealmond crusted cod and the roasted half chicken. Lovely flavors in both, and would say were very straight forward and a menustaple for the Cape. Would highly recommend for a beautiful view and friendly dining experience. Read more
We were vacationing on Cape Cod in late April, before the main tourist season really began. We were looking for a nice place to... dine, with a view of the sea, and we found this establishment online. We arrived shortly before 6:00 pm (slightly ahead of thedinner rush), and had no trouble getting a seaside table with a wonderful view. The food was superb, the service was very good,and we felt that the cost was quite moderate, considering the top-notch quality of the food and service, and the overallambiance of the setting. Although the most expensive, this meal was delicious. We got there early and had a drink at the bar, a Bloody French, it packs a... wallop! After getting seated started with a shrimp cocktail, large shrimp in a different type of cocktail sauce but very tasty.Hubby got the chowder which he loved. For dinner had the Lobster with ramp mushroom risotto and almond crusted cod. These disheswere wonderful. I am still dreaming of that risotto. Then we had dessert! Best meal I had in Ptown by far. Dark wood interior with beautiful harbour views. New American with Asian notes, well... appointed cocktails. Had Lamb, Lobster and Wellfleet oysters. There's this amazing looking curry too that I was tempted to try. Excellent service staff. Again, hands down the best meal out with my partner. Read more
