Reviews for Vino Veritas in Providence, RI
Place is a joke. Last time, the waiter couldn't get by drink order right - for a simple Corona (no not Coors). Time before that... - I ordered the Au Jus for lunch and it was cold and hard. Time before that - we arrived at opening for dinner but the "chef"was 1.5 hours late. Eventually got undercooked pappardelle. Read more
We came for brunch. The home fries were great. Perfectly seasoned and crispy outside. Felt like they had just been made. We got... the avocado toast with salmon and eggs. It was very plain. Minimal seasoning, if any at all but they had salt, pepper, oil andhot sauce. The eggs Benedict had great Canadian bacon ham in it and the eggs were poached well. Comes on a big sweet Portuguesebolo bread. I would definitely come here again but would likely try something else next time. It?s not what I expected it tolook like on the inside based on the appearance. It?s small but there are plenty of tables and outdoor seating with heaters. Nowait on a Sunday when we came. They had another large party of like 10 people and a baby as we were here but our food stillcame out on time. Read more
I love this quaint and cozy European bistro. The food is always outstanding with decent portions and the service is very... friendly. Since this place is small, I would recommend reservations. On street parking only. Everyone that I have brought hereend up falling in love with the place and return to it. Read more
We've dined here a couple of times now and it's excellent. I like the small, quaint and warmly decorated space. Everyone is... very welcoming and super helpful. The Pappardelle Bolognese and the Pork Osso Buco served over risotto dinners were excellent. We look forward to another delicious meal soon! Read more
Definitely worth checking out. Everything was terrific! I loved the Caesar salad, table side! Linguine with clams wonderful! My... only criticism would be that the calamari was a little greasy? but?I?m already looking forward to going back! Read more

We had a fantastic experience at this little gem in Federal Hill. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Our waiter Rob was... helpful and efficient. We had the Caprese salad appetizer, Chicken Francais and the Grilled pork chop. Everything was deliciousand well presented. The pork chop was huge yet tender. The Chicken Francais was extremely moist and bathed in a mild lemonsauce. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. We will definitely be going back. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Read more
Sweet place, cozy. They are struggling for staff so we had a non-professional who was truly doing the best she could. The... appetizers were great, but the entrees were completely lack luster. I might try it again but not because I am excited by thefood. On the other hand, the chef was completely willing to make something for me that was not on the menu. I love chefs andrestaurants that are willing to serve in that way. So, go, but choose their classics only. Read more
