I have been to El ninja multiple times and enjoyed the ambiance, food and drinks. I reserved a table for 5 and we sat in the... back in an area I haven’t sat in before which I enjoyed. The food was good but one of the rolls was very dry and overlyseasoned. The wait for the food was extremely long and we had to ask a couple times where it was. Overall good experience. Read more

Service was excellent. Music was a bit loud and they offered to turn it down. Presentation was great, food looked appetizing.... Lack of entrees that didn’t directly involve steak. Went on Wednesday which was $10 sushi roll night. Food was delicious butwife was unimpressed with the fried calamari, said it lacked flavor. Received a ‘sevice charge’ on my bill, managerdescribed it as an included gratuity rate but I’d never seen that on a bill for 2 people. Unfortunate because I prefer to tipin cash. I usually love this place. But I don’t know what happened this time. Not sure. I liked it better when el ninja was the chef... there. The quality of the rolls wasn’t up to par this time. And not to mention the salmon that I got was a really smallportion. I understand overhead cost but man they could have gave more salmon. I feel like they removed some protein and uppedthe price.
