Stopped in during an unexpected window of downtime from a visit to see my daughter at PC and was greeted by Armando warmly. I... told him what I was looking for and what I couldn't have because of garlic issues and he brought me the most beautiful salumiplate imaginable. Paired me up with a perfect glass of Barolo and I couldn't have been happier. Fresh, delicious and abundant. As he said, he's not for everybody, but he is for me 100%. Thank you for the great lunch and see you again soon. Read more

Enjoyed the ambiance on a Saturday night outside on Federal Hill. Lemon martini has a very smooth taste. Many of the ingredients... here are flown in right from Italy so they are pricey. Black truffle Parmesan pasta in a cheese bread bowl was decadent. Placeis Def worth a try. Read more

The food here is perfection. Everything on the menu is homemade and fresh, and every staff member here is in a amazing mood.... This is the best Italian food I?ve had in a very, very long time. The owner is also really funny and makes you feel like home. This place is a hidden gem in prov. There?s nothing like the taste of this place anywhere in Rhode Island. The prices are a bithigh, but you really do get what you pay for. Read more

I?ve always seen it full here so I finally decided to stop by for pasta on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch because I could see... there was no wait. Very authentic Italian; not like Italian-American. Like actual Italy. The chef seems to also be the server.Super friendly dude. Good at recommending things to people. Great place if you?re looking for a ~*taste of Italy*~ I love thelittle back porch set up they made; a cute way to extend the amount of seating at the place and to allow for year round outdoordining. My husband ate here a few times and said that Bacco Vino & Cortoni is phenomenal! We had a birthday coming up in the family and,... what an excellent opportunity to finally try the restaurant that my husband is so passionate about. We made reservations for130pm for five people on a Tuesday . I parked in front of the restaurant. I entered the restaurant. There are a few small tablesas you enter and a bar. I identified myself, and I was lead to the back of the restaurant. This is where your experience startsbecause you will notice that is not the usual 'restaurant setup". You will pass the kitchen, then, climb up a very small stairand voila! you have just entered a realm of the most exquisite Italian cuisine experience. The space is small, with a fewtables. We were greeted again by our waiter and also Armando the Chef! The menu is not the traditional Italian-American menu, and I knew this by one item on the menu-tripes! This is something you don't see every day much less in an Italian restaurant.(Tripe has to be ordered in advance). The menu is a tour of what a traditional Italian menu should look like. We ordered anappetizer that was excellent, it had all kinds of goodies such as variations of salamis, olives, cheeses, melon, etc. I orderedmy main course, called Pollo Casariccion-excellent! best chicken I have had in a long time. Excellent lentil soup. The wine isanother dimension of excellence. I am not into red wine, but my husband is, and I had a glass, wow! I was transported to themoon and back! Everyone at my table enjoyed every meal they had! no complaints. Chef Armando really went above and beyond myexpectation. I could tell he loves what he does, loves people. This is his passion! Now I found out that Chef Armando is doing acruise for next year. I am interested in joining their group. I can only imagine what that experience will be like. Bacco justreceived top 100 on Yelp!!! Make sure you call ahead for reservations because now that everyone is gett Read more
