I've been living within ten minutes of this place for nearly half my life, and we just never tried it out... And I really regret... it. Very good food and service, both of which greatly exceeded my expectations. We started with the spinach queso, then my partyordered the quesadilla, fried fish sandwich, bison spare ribs, and mahi mahi sandwich. Everyone really enjoyed their meals andthere were no complaints other than we couldn't finish every last bite. Price is higher than other local restaurants, but thequality is better than anything else in this area! We will definitely return! --UPDATE-- Since I posted this review threeyears ago, we've eaten at Blackstone Grille probably a dozen times or more. It is officially my favorite locale--the food andservice has never disappointed. So lucky to have a great place like this just minutes from home. Read more
Delicious pot roast, Wallieye fish dinner, yummy dessert! Mary was our waitress and really enjoyed our evening.
We had heard good things about the Blackstone Grille and they were right - the food and service were wonderful! We enjoyed the... most tender, melt-in-your mouth pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans I've had since my mother and grandmother used tocook! Had a salad and an appetizer- fried calamari. I expected an awesome seasoned salad full of veggies. I got a side salad, huge... pieces of lettuce, giant onion rings, 3 olives and a few chickpeas. The calamari was very lightly breaded and soggy. Seriouslysubpar food. Cheap tacky decor- plastic vines and trees. Waitress was excellent. Read more
You see a lot of reviews & wonder who is more right or more wrong. We took a chance for our anniversary dinner. I have to... agree with the it?s just ok viewpoint. The staff were friendly, but the service was just ok. Two points of concern were havingto ask for water refills & having to ask for bread. I personally thought the food was just average for the price we paid. Thesteaks had a lot of fat & some gristle. I just believe if you are paying that price, you should expect better. Read more
This is a good restaurant. I tried the fried chicken because it was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint.
Food was decent but not worth the cost. Pretty basic and boring. I would save your money for a better restaurant.
Blackstone grill is my favorite restaurant. I remember I went here for my 9th birthday, and I was mature enough to go, and sure... enough, I had a great time. I went for my next four birthdays and loved it every time. When I was turning nine, some peoplewrote "Happy Birthday" on a ten dollar bill. The servers are so nice, and treated me like an adult.
