Bit on the spendy side but great food and awesome service

This place is a staple in most smaller towns. It has large portions which include the drinks. The food is standard... Americanized Mexican cuisine. Its good, expect lots of chips and salsa, don't be afraid to ask for refried beans with yourchips while waiting to order or for the food. The prices seemed really high. Most dishes, including just single burritos wereover $20, which took me by surprise. The food was good, the service was better. Some dishes were good, some kind of thrown on the plate. The enchiladas had an off taste. Our bill was really high, no alcohol... drinks. Even with 3 children's meals came to over $215. Not the quality we expect at Mazatlan. Read more

I called ahead, I live 17 mins away. We got to the restaurant, sent my boyfriend in and they had no recollection of even getting... my order. They don?t have what I wanted but I told him to order the two enchiladas instead. He waited ten 15 minutes for thefood but we got it. Long story short, I grew up in a very poor Mexican household. We didn?t waste food and we would still eatfood that was questionably edible. Anyway, the beans that they are serving taste like they are already spoiled. I know thistaste, anytime the beans are taste bitter it?s because they are spoiled. I noticed that they add salt to cover the taste. I enjoy going to Mazatlans when I get a night out with my friends. One of my favorite waiters works there and he is the best!!... There food is delicious my favorite being the Asad Quesadilla. Also, there blackberry margaritas are dangerously yummy! Read more

My husband I just received our dinner which we ordered from Mazatlan. We ordered carne asada nachos along with three other... items. They gave us hamburger and tried to pass it off as carne asada. When we called to ask them to fix the order they claimedthis was how they make their carne asada for nachos. We have ordered it from here before and it was NOT like this. I understandthat inflation makes costs higher but choosing to pass hamburger off as carne asada is not okay. At over 50 dollars for a meal Iat least expect honesty and integrity. We had an excellent experience as usual. Everything has so much flavor! Huge tasty Margaritas! Delicious fajitas! Flavorful... burrito! Great big menu to choose from! Our kids were happy... Parents are happy! We'll return soon. Read more
