The food was cooked to my liking. The hostess was either in a rush or having a stressful night cause she asked how many guests... and I replied with 3 and she set the booth for 4 people. Granted we did go early, before 5:00, but the service was super fast. Our server, Hannah, was awesome. The food was cooked... really well with good flavor. I think they have remodeled some recently which makes the place feel cleaner. Plenty of staff onhand which is nice in today's world. Keep up the good work, Texas! Read more
Very disappointed in this place. I've been visiting West Virginia frequently and started to like this place because of their... steaks and my hotel suggesting your establishment. Tonight I came in and sat at the bar thinking it would be quicker to beserved but I was wrong. Two ladies and a man were behind the bar at first and then they all left. My wife and I sat at the barfor literally 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Then another gentleman came down by us and grabbed a mixer and went back tomaking the drink the other gentleman started. Then proceeded to talk to two different waitresses who were seated at end of barwith their aprons on and drinking an alcoholic beverage. I walked up to them and asked for service and he said oh I'm not thebartender. Shortly after, a man came over to finally serve us. We decided not to even eat from here because it was obvious thatthis biracial couple was not welcome. You've lost a customer after tonight because this wasn't the first time I experiencedhorrible customer service from here. Staff was helpful and polite as well as willing to accommodate anything we needed or ordered even though it was a packed house... we only waited 2 or 3 minutes to be seated, The Food!!!!! was absolutely Great! Large portions cooked to perfection, me and myfather in law had an awesome Father's Day lunch here 10/10 would recommend to others Also check out the peanut butter cake andBanana pudding cup..... ..FYI if you're eating somewhere and the service isn't to your liking think about how you interact withemployees and give the bus boy the same RESPECT! as the owner/ manager.
