The restaurant has a room for large groups with round tables and a second dining area for four or fewer peopleper table. The design allows for a quieter dining atmosphere for smaller tables. Went for dinner with my Mom and Sister and the place was completely empty and what appear to be under renovations, as the sign... on the door Indicated that they were under new management. We were greeted and escorted to a table quickly. The waiter waspolite and the food was brought to our table quickly. While waiting for our food the restaurant became very warm (outside was95 degrees). We asked the waiter to point the fan that was in the middle of the restaurant towards our table. He was veryaccommodating, but it was obvious that the AC was not working /on. Half way through our meal another family arrived , and itwas clear that the manager was friendly and familiar with them. He immediately turned the fan towards their direction , leavingus without any air. We expressed our dissatisfaction and he was very dismissive and rude. The new owners of Shang Shi, transplants from Los Angeles, are awaiting their new sign to come in. Yang the owner is so down to... earth and humble and very approachable. His current staff is super duper nice and awaiting to hire way more people once theystart full marketing. The food! That chicken with broccoli and chicken fried rice melted in my mouth and I have enough for 3meals, yes that much food is given, well worth the money spent! I never loved the food at Shanghai Park, but now I love thefood here and will most definitely come back!!! Read more

04/23/2022 Soup dumplings are still my best choice in NJ. Today also tried some other dishes... Better impression than before.... Price is still a bit high if I compare the C/P value... Tasty and flavorful Chinese food! We love the soup dumplings, the shredded beef (spicy!) and their lomein. The food comes out... pretty quickly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our favorite Chinese food in the area. Read more

Their aromatic beef noodle soup is fantastic. Not too salty yet very flavorful. Lots of beef, all very tender, with plenty of... greens. Outdoor seating is nice and very covid safe. Read more
