Pagliai's (poly-eyes) probably has the best pizza you're going to find anywhere around here (and elsewhere). Prices aren't bad... either for what you get, and the service has been great. We always get the deep dish with cheese bread and it's phenomenal! Ithink they make their own ranch too, which I'd highly recommend. We've gone there twice now, and one thing I noticed is thatthere was no music playing in the dining room. It made it a little awkward sitting in there trying to have a conversation whenit's dead silent. Other people have made comments about music being played, so maybe our experience is not the norm. The onlyother thing I'll say is whoever cuts the pizzas needs to get themselves a protractor or something.. I mean... I don't know ifI've ever had a pizza cut that horribly lol. Today was our first time visiting here and we weren't disappointed. The lady, who wasn't even our waitress, cut up with our 17... y.o. son and made him laugh. We felt comfortable and when the food came it was hot, fresh and a great tasting pizza!!! ???? Theyalso played my favorite 80's music. We definitely had a great first experience and plan to return. By far, the best pizza I have eaten! It was hot, cheesy, flavorful, and not greasy! It held it's form...was not limp and chewy!... I loved their light crispy crust and enjoyed watching them making the dough the old-fashioned way! We travel 3 hours one way,just to come here to eat! Pagliag's is such an outstanding restaurant! They offer delicious food at an affordable price. The quality of their pizza is... truly top of the line. My family and I eat here everytime we're in the area. The service is always fantastic. The owner canusually be found walking around making sure that every guest is enjoying their experience at his restaurant. This is definitelythe place to go if you're looking for great food! Read more
Not your average pizza folks. I have enjoyed every pizza I have had from here. Now, it is not cheap, quite pricey actually, but... you get what you pay for. If I go to pizza hut I normally buy six pizzas to feed my family of 8. When I buy Pagliai's I only buythree pizzas. They offer 3 crusts- thin, regular, and deep dish. The pizzas are loaded with cheese and toppings. If you do notlove cheese then this is not the pizza for you. I feel as if this is the best pizza in western Kentucky. Now we do not normallyeat in there because service is hit and miss and the place is usually busy. One thing I must say also is they have the bestranch. I believe they make it there but from someone who is not a huge ranch eater, I always order some. Sometimes I order thechips to dip in the ranch, other times I put it on my pizza. They have good salads and they offer sandwiches and other pastadishes. The lasagna is tasty and the spaghetti and meatballs are okay, nothing to fancy. Desserts are good also. I always getthe sweet tea drink as it is some of the best around town. The staff are always friendly whether you dine in or pick up to takeout. Read more
The food was excellent. Loved the pizza. Service was all right, a little slow but we had a larger group. Would definitely... recommend the baked goat cheese. Their crust is pretty good. The ranch is amazing. Note: They serve coke products. Read more
Super busy on the Sunday morning we went but the staff were all really friendly and kind as we were out of towners and need some... extra time with the menu. They were all professional and got us seated pretty quickly even with the after church rush! It wasalso really cool to walk in and see them making food behind a large glass wall! Smelled amazing too! We live 2 hours away and we keep coming back for this pizza. You can?t go wrong with any of the pizzas, but the ultimate one is... the large deep dish house with a bowl of ranch. Ranch on pizza is not typically my thing, but their made in house ranch is todie for. Read more
