Reviews for Charley’s Lounge in Prince Rupert, BC
Very interesting history of the staff and processes that provided tinned Salmon for us and highlighted the dreadful conditions... of work in those days. Read more
Staff are great!! Wide choice of beverages, and good food
The food is good. I did have to wait 20 minutes for cheese cake. They had many servers on staff and it wasn't that busy. They... just need to improve on the service . Read more

Loved this lounge. Wonderful views, cozy interior and welcoming staff. I knocked off one star because the food was just a little... over cooked (Salmon) but nothing really worth complaining about ( still chose to eat here on two separate occasions after theover cooked Salmon, totally worth it). This place is pretty posh. Nice view, beautiful decor, and a good layout. The server seemed unimpressed that my group of 5 sat... in her section. I got the baby scallops and the entree prawns. The scallops were cooked very nicely but could have used a bitmore time in the pan to get that nice sear. The prawns were a home run covered in a delightful tomato sauce. Read more
Great view and esthetic interior with mediocre food. I ordered the Original Cajun Chicken Sandwich with fries, for $21.75 The... portion of chicken was small, thin and bland without much Cajun blackened flavour. Picture shows half the sandwich. I wasn'texpecting a BLT, but the bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese, each seemed more abundant than the blackened chicken. Also ordered3 items off $7 Happy Hour menu: Szechuan Tofu was tasty, Truffle Fries were good, and the Fried Bowl (Yam fries, breadedMushroom and Cauliflower) was nothing special. Fresh cut fries and in-house breaded veg would be an improvement. Service wasokay, but seemed distant. If you are able to be seated with a view, it is nice. If you don't mind paying extra for anuneventful meal, perhaps you will enjoy it more than us. Read more
