I was looking for a pub to order take out lunch. Saw reviews of Trench Brewery and decided to try. Arrived at Pub and Was quite... disappointed. Waited for 5 minutes for waiter to recognize me at table. After some confusion from waiter....he assumed that Iknew what I wanted to order (I had not been provided a menu).I ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich with crispy onions/BBQsauce-$19.90 plus 20% tip and waited 40 minutes for food (restaurant was not busy). In order to expedite matters, I paid for myorder immediately.Finally heard the ding and saw that my order was up on counter. Waiter was no where to be seen, he finallycame back to bar counter where other clients were asking questions and looking to pay bill and move outside. I waited a further5 minutes with no response towards waiter collecting my order. Decided to take initiative and grabbed order and stuffed in bagand left for my hotel room. Sandwich with was lukewarm, brisket was extremely tough and without flavour. There were no crispyonions, instead pickled onions were thrown in box. Last time i went to Trench Brewing, about two years ago, they didn't yet have food. This time round, I was happy to see they now... had a light menu on offer on top of their great beers. As expected the beers were excellent. I recommend a flight so that youcan try 4 beers at once. Then you can pick and choose what pints to order. For lunch, I had pulled pork sliders and borschtwith a dollop of sour cream on top. The sliders were very good, with a nice soft roll and satisfying pulled pork. The borschtwas good too. I felt the portions were a little on the small side, though my lunch came to a total of $10. For dessert, I hadpeaches and cream cheesecake, which was yummy. I love cheesecake, and this cheesecake was as good as any I've had. All in all,I recommend Trench: go for the brew, stay for the food. Read more

Atmosphere was excellent, food was excellent, drinks where excellent, but being a dd and not being informed that iced tea... refills are charged for was not good. The other point that choked me was that the refills were smaller than the original drink.Not cool. We dropped well in excess of $100 for 3 people so it is not inexpensive. Read more

Awesome local Micro Brewery with some great tasting beers and nice environment! Friendly staff who are passionate about the... place which is so great to see. It maybe down town in a light industrial area but it is worth seeking out to enjoy some qualitycraft beer. The only knock on them is they need a little more or better appies.
