We are somewhat new to Calvert County, so we tried after our neighbor suggested this Sakura location. When we got to hibachi... meals first it was extremely greasy and not good but they also forgot our soups and salads. When I called to let the people knowthat this happened I said I don?t want anyone to get in trouble but I would like to make sure that this gets brought up to makesure that it doesn?t happen to anyone else. They assured me that the next time we come there for our second time visiting theirestablishment that we would be comped in some sort of way. It is now four weeks later and I called to see what they could do sothat we could be longtime customers, but we were met with not finding that we were there before. I said I have a credit card andI can prove that I was there at your establishment and that it was a bad meal. I told them that it was worse than having aSakura express and at that point the person on the phone gave me to the manager. When the manager began to talk to me heimmediately was rude and disrespectful. I told him the same story that I told the person answered the phone and he replied? Iguess you need to go back to Sakura express? by that comment I was extremely shocked I asked for his bosses name and he said ?that you don?t need to know his name or mine? I replied to him that if this is the way he manages this establishment this isexactly why people have so many bad situation?s at this location, I will make sure I get a hold of the managers boss so that hecan understand that he has that kind of worker managing and running this establishment for him, and losing money that doesn?tneed to be lost. The manager should be ashamed of himself and should find a new job, I have worked In many restaurants and to becalled a manager is absolutely right and a gift and the person that I talk to is not even close to a manager but a worker. Hate posting negative reviews, but this needs to be said. We were charged 20% gratuity on our party of 6. Totally fine. We... didn?t know this. There is a sign at the front, where you will never see it until you are walking out. There is no itemizedreceipt. So, we tipped according to the bill. Ended up giving 50% in tips/gratuity because we tipped based on the bill plusbuilt in gratuity. Read more

Solid restaurant! Typically have good, quick service, regardless of if you are getting hibachi or sushi. Can be a bit pricey... for the hibachi, as you are paying for the show or service, but it is always good and a TON of food.
