Love chicken and friend from Louisiana said it was better than KFC and to get crispy. Ordered 8 piece meal with biscuits and... frys. Ordered online and my wife picked up a few minutes later. (Smooth process). Home in 25 minutes and put in warmer oven for10 minutes. Chicken was crispy but dry and tasteless. Same with the 4 biscuits. The frys were ok. The $27.42 spent was awaste. The chicken at golden corral is 1/2 the price and twice as good. I will give them one more try by eating indoors. If nogood bye, bye, Popeyes! Ps. I am not a big KFC fan, but their chicken is better than what I received. Read more
I went to Popeyes thinking that it was not open (my husband said it was). To get some take out. It was fresh and clean and the... staff were trying really hard. I love fried chicken, but I never ever make it. I really like the one in PV. I am sorry to sayit was just okay. Nothing really wrong with anything, it was just okay. But the place looked fabulous. The staff needs to pay better attention to the order - I requested 16 pieces of mild chicken and was given spicy; then I tried... contacting the store for a replacement (granted it was 6 hours later) and they could only give me ½ as a replacement. When youspend $50 on a meal, one would expect it to be fulfilled/replaced properly. Read more
Needless to say I was very disappointed in my order. I had ordered a chicken sandwich meal with french fries and a drink. My... sandwich was so greasy and so were my fries. I ate half of it only to have to be in the bathroom an hour later getting sick fromit. I love Popeyes but this food here was terrible. First time trying this one in Prescott Valley. Ok, not sure what to say about this. I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal from Popeyes in Prescott valley. Went through the drive... through. No large drink cups, so i ordered two small cups (they said that?s all they had). Funny that?s all they had last time Idrove through about a month ago. They asked me what side I would like...I ordered the new Mac and cheese. I drove all the wayhome to find this container of Mac and cheese. Now, I haven?t touched it yet or eaten any of it...this is how it came. That?snot even an Ice cream scoop size. What happened to the rest? Is it supposed to be that empty? Guess I won?t be ordering Macand cheese again. Chicken was good otherwise I?d give it one star Come on Popeyes! Are times that tough where you have toshort people?s orders? Disappointing! Chicken Strips are very odd, like is this real meat? I couldn't quite tell what it was, consistency was strange,... I think rubbery or something. Hadn't been to a Popeyes in two years or more, but they're so hyped up, wanted to try the chicken.The batter was very unflavorful other than the spice. The biscuit was like a hockey puck???? and I don't recommend the coleslaw.The frozen Strawberry Lemonade though! Yes, get that for sure! I love Popeyes the chicken sandwiches are really good the popcorn chickens really good we just love trying different things and... if you want to get something different than the other places in town we Popeyes is the way to go they've got great chicken it'sdefinitely one of a kind restaurant.
