Fire house sub is a really good sandwich place I come here all the time. the staff during the day is wonderful. One of the... worker name Kayla will bring you ur food with a smile. Lauren the cashier will treat u like ur her friend the GM always has asmile and a welcoming. But the night staff has to go or just thr manger she is teching those kids bad things about there firstjob. So last night I came in for the first time and it was about 6:00 everything was all put away. I got told I couldnt order asandwich just soup or a meat ball cause all the steamer were shut down. I said really its only 6 and I guys close at 9 but themanger said yes she had inventory to do and she wasnt feeling well. We've been regulars at this location for 5+ years. Had lunch here a few months ago and it was wonderful!! Went back a few days... ago and everything has gone downhill. It looks like a whole new staff. None of them know what they are doing. Got my very simpleorder wrong. Place was a mess and the worker was cutting bread without gloves on. When I pointed it out to the cashier sherolled her eyes and told them to put on gloves. When I asked what happened to the old staff, they told me the whole crew walkedout after the owner didn't pay them on time. Then he fired the managers in retaliation! Not sure what's going on over there, but it looked like all new people NONE of which knew what they were doing or looked like... they even wanted to be there. My sandwich was sloppily put together. I could barely grab it. And the cheese wasn't even meltedall the way and my meat wasn't hot. I ended up just eating it with a fork and knife because I didn't want to waste the $12 Ijust spent. I waited to post this to see if Firehouse would resolve my complaint from my visit to the Prescott Valley Location on 05/17/2022... at 10:05 am. Background: I run a WILDLAND FIRE Crew of 21 hard working Firefighters. We often go to local establishments insometimes remote locations and order food for our crew. While we understand it?s a large ask to make food for 21 people. Wenever have problems with this. I would also state that we have been to this EXACT location as recently as February, withoutissue. I have walked into the Buckeye Location twice, and also the Yuma Location, all very helpful and no issues. I walked inand approached the register, and asked if I could get 21 medium sandwiches, I generally start this conversation with ?I have 21Hungry Firefighters? (21 of the exact same sandwich mind you) I said I can come back and get them in an hour if needed. I wasrudely told that ?I can?t make you 21 sandwiches without 24 hour notice?. ??? I let her know that I have done this many timeswithout issue. I asked, ?if I brought my 21 firefighters into this restaurant would you just turn us away?? (Unfortunately mycrew was about 30 minutes away actively fighting a wildfire) and was met with a ?well what time do you need them by? ? this iswhen I decided that FIREHOUSE subs doesn?t want to make Hundreds of dollars of business serving the people they claim tosupport, There has been countless times I have ?rounded up to support first responders? ? but you?ll turn away business from thepeople you claim to support. I submitted my concerns with this issue to the local management and have yet to receive a reply.I?m not looking for any hand outs I?m just trying to let people know that this location specifically, doesn?t support Firemen asthey claim that they do. I?ve been to this establishment a number of times and each visit I?ve been completely satisfied w my sub sandwich, the staff and... the dining facility. Every sandwich has been made w a good meat/cheese/veggie to bun ratio and I ?special order? my sandwicheach time and there?s never been a mistake. Items are always fresh and honestly delicious! The staff at this location has alwaysbeen courteous, patient and helpful - I?ve never encountered the rude manager that?s been mentioned in other reviews so I cannot say one way or another if that behavior has continued. On this visit I was informed before ordering that the entire staff isnew and in training so that there may be a delay in getting my order in a timely manner. No issue for me as everyone is new intheir job at one point. Sitting at a table w my drink and people watching is an enjoyable past time for me. Read more
The store and bathroom are clean, employees are nice and friendly. Drink station clean and well stocked. Food was good but I... wish I hadn?t got the beef brisket because it tasted to fatty. It was also too much sodium for me. Other than that it was reallygood. Love the sweet tea. Read more
