El Gato Azul is a must visit for any trip to Prescott. This restaurant serves dishes that excite your tastebuds and the staff... warms your soul. This destination is a delightful, charming, and fun-hearted experience. It reminds you that food is. It onlymeant to nourish the body but is to be fully enjoyed. Being undecided by countless menu offerings, our server (JD) recommendedordering a number of tapas dishes to try a variety of flavors. Genius recommendation! We were not disappointed at all exceptthat our stomachs were not big enough for all we ordered. JD has a delightful personality, is quick-witted, and greets you likea long-time friend. Her demeanor is a perfect blend with the inviting environment, and amazing dishes. Please note that thereis a ramp to the entrance for ease and accessibility. A sign on the door welcomes service animals but pets are not allowed.?? My next trip to Prescott, I?m scheduling enough time to dine at El Gato Azul at least twice. Read more

When in Prescott be sure to wander a couple blocks west of the Square and into El Gato Azul. It is a super quaint place that you... will fall in love with the moment you see the exterior. Once seated you'll be faced with hard choices of what to eat. Try two ofthree of the tapas dishes. You'll walk away full and possibly with a takeaway bag. Read more

Had dinner here on a Sunday night on the patio, weather was nice and the service was good. The food was excellent! We tried a... variety of tapas and all of them were really good and there are plenty more to try on my next visit. (we also had the paellawhich was good but not great). I also had a very tasty old fashioned. I would definitely recommend this place and will returnnext time I'm in Prescott. Read more

My coworker and I visited El Gato Azul for the first time and let me tell you... It was an amazing atmosphere! The service was... amazing and the food was fantastic! We had the fried artichoke tapas(which was my favorite), The Fred calamari, lamb chops, ceviche and chips, and the crab cakes. I also had the prickly pear Margie, which was also very tasty! I can't wait to comeback to try more items on the menu! Read more

We did a day trip from Phoenix to Prescott yesterday. My hubby wanted cozy mom &pop?s style place. I wanted something small... sharable so we can try different flavors. So we got here. Place is sooo busy! Lovely chaos in a good way. Everyone is so busy, but alway with a big smile on they?re face, very helpful, knowledgeable as well as honest. We came in around 1.20pm ish..Wegot- Hostess favorite table! I believe we were served by a bartender - great service, drinks. He has that great and rareattitude - to make guests happy and welcome -10points for that! Food - we were nicely surprised, tasty, full of flavors, goodproducts. All together- we will be back to Prescott not just to walk around and enjoy beautiful weather but to take a bunch offriends to enjoy great food and ambience at El Gato Azul???? Great work team????????? Read more

We stumbled upon this delightful cafe a few years ago and loved it enough to return this week when we were in town again. The... number of tapas available for vegetarians is amazing!! We ordered five things and had a hard time deciding our favorite. All sogood. Not pictured is the fig and goat cheese dip (my eventual fave, I think) and the fried artichokes. Can?t go wrong! We had planned to have dinner here on Sunday evening but arrived in town from Phoenix just a bit too late. Luckily the charming... lady at the hostess stand got us a window table for lunch the next day with no more than a few minutes wait. The tapas wereabsolutely divine and were perfect for sharing. We started with the caprese,, followed by the beef and blue tacos and the crispyartichoke hearts. There is great teamwork among the entire staff, so even as they were packed full with guests waiting, theservice was friendly and as smooth as silk. We look forward to returning to try more delicious plates! Definitely a new favoritefor us in Prescott. Read more

Amazing tapas with great prices. Vast menu to choose from. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options. Three of us shared 6 dishes, we... got 2 beers and a soda and the total was only $66! We left the restaurant stuffed too. Must visit when in the Prescott area.Highly recommended to call ahead since they fill up rather quickly as soon as they open. Read more
