Four of us ate here and the food was just very sub par. The almond chicken was more savory than sweet and just didn't have a... very nice taste to it. The pork fried rice had tough overcooked pieces of pork and was also very lightly seasoned it tastedbasically like white rice with just enough ingredients thrown in to technically call it fried rice. The only reason I'm givingthis 2 stars is that the service was attentive and polite. Unfortunately I won't be coming back because the food was just notvery tasty at all. Read more
The online menu does not have accurate prices and I was never given my total when I called in my take-out order. I ended up... paying nearly 50% more than I expected. I recommend Chi's Cuisine, a great locally-owned restaurant that serves Chinese food, isright around the corner, and has honest pricing. I didn't receive any sweet and sour for my crab puffs, too. I was greeted and sat to a table promptly, where i ordered a hot tea, which to my surprise was complimentary, which is where the... good part of the review ends. I was amazed at the prices on the menu, no lunch specials in sight, and the cheapest entree was$13.95. Mushu pork it is. I ordered it 4/5 spicy, and to my surprise, was "greeted" with 4 pre-wrapped burritos. Yes. Burritos.Flour tortilla. Every chinese joint i've been has had the propper rice "pancake and a mound of the mushu for your own assembly.This brought me to my investigative of the contents. at least 3 different porks from separate dishes, which leads me to believethey were recycling the meat from other dishes to this "budget" option. Alright i'll give it a fair shake before discounting it.There was barely any flavor to distinguish it from something my mom would make. And zero spice, not even a chili pepper seed.Which would be rectifiable if they didn't try and extort .75 cents out of me for the "upgrade", which I was able to spot on thebill and refute. Overall if you're a prescottonian boomer with no regard for properly prepared and seasoned chinese stlye food,at a premium price, this is the joint for you. Read more
This place has always been a special place to me. A first date kinda place. Brought my wife here for ours, little did I know she... was going to be my wife 2 years later. I think it's also an all-time favorite place for her too now. I love the layout of theinterior, environment, staff, and food. Always good service and food is spot on. Runaway and fast....Not cheap at all for basic OK tasting American Chinese food, price is too high for the quality (about $17... per dinner item). Brought the family in, my wife and 2 kids, which don't eat alot so I ordered 2 dinner meals and a large wontonsoup. We we were penalized for sharing our meal with kids under 12...They charged me for "meal sharing" charge for both dinnerplates. Scandalous. The wonton soup had no dumplings in it, just a few scraps of noodles and a mystery meat. NOT EVER COMINGBACK HERE AGAIN. Read more
