I did not like anything about this place! Inside was busy and not clean. One worker was trying, but grime everywhere as a steady... stream of customers came. My order took forever and this was my very first inside experience at Cookout. I dispersed my party of8's food. I personally had a BBQ plate. It was matted and disgusting to taste. I almost stopped there but my wife thought aburger would work. The thing was cold and bland. I'm calling on someone in management to make this write. This can't be! Read more
I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was nicely shredded, along with a large portion of crispy but not overdone French fries... and a small portion of Cole slaw (I would have likes a full size serving instead of a sandwich topping). Mediocre at best. Dine in ordered Cajun fries got regular fries half of them unedible. Both burgers was to be cheese burgers... neither had cheese. Only plus I have is they use plastic staws instead of the God awful paper ones Read more
Very clean place. Service was very friendly, food was served fast, and it was very tasty. Highly recommend this place. They have... a good selection of menu items. I had the cookout hotdog with Mustard, onion, chili, and slaw. Delicious and the fries weregreat. BTW, you can make whatever flavor milkshake you want, but they have menu choices too. I had them make a Blueberry,Banana, Strawberry milkshake for me. It was perfect for getting me back on the road full. Read more
Wow the food was fast hot and fresh. It was our first time visiting a Cook Out and we are glad we did. I would have liked a... friendly person taking our order maybe one that wanted to help guest. Even with that I rated 4 cause the food was really great.The menu was large and high so it wasn't easy to read from the register. But again all that's ok cause the burgers tasted justlike if you grilled them. Read more
First time ordering from this Cook Out location in Prattville, the food was very good I was impressed because it was late at... night... I drive through there, I got my order very fast and it was hot and tasty best Fries and Slaw .. The lady in drivethrough was nice and sweet. Overall I enjoyed my meal. Read more
I usually love a quick bite from cookout for an inexpensive, filling meal and a yummy shake. This was the second location to... disappoint in a week, but this one gets the half gold star. First, slow service- no big deal, I wasn?t in a hurry. But it wasn?tgood service either. When I called them on giving me change for a ten dollar bill, instead of the twenty I had handed them, Ithen had to sit and wait while, I suppose, they tried to figure out how to correct their mistake. But then asked me how muchchange I was owed.??????????? At least I was honest. lol But the food.????I keep my dogs from eating things off the ground thatlook like this. I know you can smell and taste three hours old, probably thrice fried hush puppies and fries from this picture.And you can see where they tried scraping the slaw off of the cold sandwich to accommodate my request. The food is fairly consistent, however you should try being very specific when you order your food as asking for grilled onions... netted me a pile of them on a small burger. I do like their trays for a fast food meal though. It's nice to have more than a fewoptions when you're on the go. Over all the staff is friendly, and the price seems fair vs value. Read more
