When I want to feel like I am not in Kansas City, I will go to French Market! Good atmosphere, good food, GREAT pastries and... lots of goodies from France! It is a perfect place to have quick coffee or lunch! Quick dinner is great! A side note is theydo not take reservations. Read more
The French Market has great atmosphere, excellent food and the prices are reasonable. They don?t take reservations, but there is... plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. It?s a little loud inside, but it just adds to the lively environment. We had the Frenchonion dip and it was delicious. The portion looked small at first, but it was perfect for two before a meal. The tomato andmozzarella baguette was so good and the portion was big enough to take home half for lunch. The cocktails were a bit pricey, butworth it, especially the peach jalapeño margarita. The dessert case was full of beautiful treats, but we were too full fromdinner. They also have a wide variety of grab and go items for a quick meal. I definitely plan to grab a quiche for our nextbrunch. Read more
Excellent food. I live nearby and visit here for lunch from time to time, and I am never disappointed. Today I had the beet... salad, and it was delicious (no surprise). My friend ordered the quiche Lorraine and said it was the best she has everhad. Highly recommend. Don?t let the lunchtime crowds send you elsewhere. It?s *well* worth the wait for a table!
