The Checker's here in Prairie View, TX is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!! Every single time I come to this location there is a problem... with something within the order. The food is improperly cooked, not getting your full order, being over charged, the employeesattitude, or the Managers attitude. The female at the window by the name of Lavis (Davis) decides that its the day that sheneeded to be rude, simple minded, and sarcastic. She began by handing me a drink in drive-thru with Strawberry Fanta drippingfrom every side of the cup, 1 order of 5 wings w Blue Cheese Dressing, 1 small drink, and 1 Chicken Strip Combo w Lemonade. Ithought maybe its me and to just give them a chance this last time If I was to go to this location for the third time it wouldbe different. I began my order with politeness saying Please and Thank You in almost ever sentence. Being in Food Service I knowthat's not how you show your customers you appreciate them visiting your establishments and that you want them to revisit. Ifthere was a choice of No Stars I would've already picked it. The man after me in drive-thru has no idea that this female oranyone else there had on any gloves and she picked his ice from his cup with her bare hand after taking money from everycustomer entering drive or the store. This location is Pathetic and needs to be retrained in Customer Service. I wonder wouldthe manager and corporate be excited to see OSHA visit. I wouldn't expect anything positive from this place. I highly recommend this place. It was my first time here. Even with it being 10:00 at night, they cook me up a fresh batch of... fries and a burger and the guy at the counter took the best care of me. So when we walked in one staff member was sitting in her car smoking at 10:45am. We waited for almost 5 minutes at the counter... for someone to serve us. There were 0 employees visible in the kitchen? we weren?t helped until a car came through thedrive-through. Then the girl noticed us but still served the car first and we waited even longer. None of the chairs had beentaken off of the tables yet and the men?s restroom was broken? But MOST IMPORTANTLY the menu prices are not actually what youhave to pay when they ring you up. We had a #9 and a #10 and each meal was rang up with additional $2 per meal. When we broughtit up to the employee at the counter she said they can?t control it. Ok, just average. They do keep late hours. Staff very fast and friendly. But burger is average.
This is my go to spot. I could not wait for my food. Asked for funnel fries they were out, asked for a milkshake and slushy they... were out of both. They were out of alot. Went to the store next door to get my slush. The burger and fries were sooo tasty asalways. Read more

You see that straw Checkers? That's the last straw. Y'all just cannot seem to get your act together. Part of the reason I like... Checkers is to get a burger and a shake but y'all always have an excuse about why there are no shakes. I actually called thistime. I called before making the trip out there and was told that the shake machine was working. I get out there and was toldthat there was no ice cream. No ice cream? Who is so incompetent that they can't order ice cream? You know what? Doesn't matteranyway. I won't be coming here anymore anyway. Y'all are always out of stuff and I end up going to the Kickapoo location anywayso might as well save time and give THEM my business. So that was the last straw. You are still a fairly new location and youwould think that you would want to build up a good reputation. Read more
