Oh my goodness!!! This was the best Mexican food I've had in so long! I got the fajita burrito and oh my gosh it was mouth... watering! The salsa was a bit under seasoned but some salt and pepper fixed that! Will be back! Read more
The food was not good. The staff was overwhelmed but that wasn't their fault as they were understaffed. They did their best. ... But the chips were very plain, as was the salsa, and of the four orders at our table only the tacos was enjoyable. Read more
Ultimately a Mexican restaurant but there are many other non-Mexican menu items to choose from like fish and chips, hamburgers... and excellent fresh cut fries. I find most of the Mexican dishes kinda bland and unimpressive but the chips and fresh made salsaare quite good. Supposedly the breakfasts are awesome though I've yet to try them. Read more

The service was good. The food was just okay, somewhere between a 2.5 and 3. There was an overpowering flavor that drowned out... the flavors of the rest of the meals, excess cumin maybe? My palette was shot after just a couple of bites. Read more
Today was a long awaited Sister Day. We started at Heart Mountain Interpretive center and then meandered around the grounds... where, still standing, were barracks and the hospital. 2 hours later, we were hot, thirsty and hungry. So off we went to Pepe's to have a go at their Mexican food. Sis ordered the Smothered Beef Burrito with rice and beans. I decided on the Al PastorChicken Taco with rice and beans. The food was tasty, the burrito gigantic, the hard shelled taco filled to overflowing and,with the addition of the sides, yes... We both took boxes home to be enjoyed later. Staff was friendly, and the only downside,was the small space, filled with small tables, and very little in the way of ambiance. It sort of reminded me of my old schoollunchroom. Still... The food is well worth a trip!! Read more
Do you like over seasoned old and cold Mexican rice? Perhaps soggy tostada's? Or being over charged? Then Pepe's Mexican... Restaurant is the place for you! Oh and the waitress had to bug her mom about getting an insurance card while I waited to beover charged. (Couldn't wait until I left to bug her mom!) Take heed my friends go find the McDonalds.
