We have lived in the area for 10yrs now and Carlucci's always delivers a solid pizza that is reasonably priced. The crust is... light, thin, slightly crispy with the just right amount of chew. The sauce is excellent and is savory with just a hint of spiceand sweetness that works well. The cheese is the perfect blend that melts well and is delicious and fresh. The other toppingsare all of excellent quality and freshness. We usually get a pepperoni and sausage, the ezzo pepperoni is perfect and thecrumbled sausage is an excellent Italian style that pairs well with the spice of the pepperoni. Read more
Out of towner and so glad we stumbled on this gem. Friendly staff who knew their patrons by name when they came in. Helpful and... turned on a free arcade game for the kids while we waited. Pizza was delicious and priced to please as well. We?ll now eat hereevery time we visit the zoo. Thank you for your greatness! Read more
Awesome place! Went there last night with my daughter, who just moved into that area. Pizza was outstanding. I thought ranch for... dipping sauce with the cheese garlic bread was strange, but then learned it was the most amazing ranch dressing on the planet.No exaggeration...the stuff is out of this world. This place is pretty solid. They have some good pizza at a decent price. Really crispy thin crust that stayed pretty crisp even... after traveling in a box. Staff was very helpful and polite. Toppings were good. Not too skimpy but also not over heaped so thatthe pizza didn't cook. All around solid stop for pizza. Read more
I'd always heard AMAZING things about this place and have wanted to try it for quite a while, so yesterday - I finally did and... what a disappointment! My fiance and I were nearby so he called in an order to surprise me - he had never been there before,either and ordered a small cheese pizza & garlic knots. He was told they didn't have any garlic knots but we found out after thefact that they DO have garlic bread & you would think the person on the phone would have mentioned that as an alternative...butthey didn't. The major complaint for us was the size of the pizza. Again, my fiance called in the order so he had no idea howsmall their small actually was - it's shockingly small! It's more like a personal pizza, it barely fed us both!! And, I was nota fan of the sauce - it tasted very generic to me somehow, much like store bought sauce from a can. Super disappointed. They claim "the best Stromboli in ohio" well that is definitely a false claim unless they mean best profit... for the maker. I just paid 15 bucks for a small with very little toppings! I was still hungry when finished. The dough was morelike bread than a Stromboli dough (which was terrible). My wife got a sub that looks like they cooked it with a torch. I gave ita shot because of they're claim of the best but I feel like I was lied to and robbed honestly. Hello, love your pizza and never had an issue. We usually like picking it up our selves but we got it delivered today. We got it... this evening and the pizza was pretty much was folded onto itself and clumped. Amazing pizza. Good amount of toppings, good sauce and a crispy crust! Their deluxe white pizza is fantastic!
