Was in the mood for country fried steak and checked out Carzell?s Kitchen in Powder Springs, only 4 miles from home. They were... out so I asked for breaded chicken tenders over mashed potatoes (instead of rice) with gravy. Macaroni & cheese and collards asmy two sides with cornbread muffins. Everything is seasoned absolutely perfectly, served hot and fresh. Also ordered off theKids Menu shrimp & green beans with homemade lemonade & cornbread muffin for my grandson. This is Real Soul Comfort food.Generous portions, prepared fresh. A much better alternative to West Cobb Diner or Cracker Barrel in my opinion. Read more

After a generic "soul food" Google search, we came across this place. Best. Decision. Ever. The food is so delicious! We got... Fried Shrimp and Country Fried Steak, both I would order again easily. To top it off, every single employee we spoke to was sogenuinely kind. So many "thank you"s and "have a nice day"s. We even got to see them welcome an apparently regular customer byname!
