Interesting and fun place, decor-wise. Good service. Food was very mediocre at best. What was promoted as "creamy" crab soup was... very watery and runny with a very strange taste and pretty much non-etable; mac and cheese was very average; "world famous"fried catfish was for the most part very fishy tasting, not enjoyable. Baked sweet potato was very good. Crab dip appetizer wasok, but chips were stale. Bread was room temp and butter was cold. Add to that, a shrill, screaming child the whole time we werethere, making it practically impossible to have a conversation, our experience was not a good one. Read more

Cuz's smoked prime rib is to die for. We always get the bigger cut because any leftovers made with it are delicious! The menu... varies a lot, but this is a good thing because there is always something new and exciting to try. And the cakes - if you evenhave room - they're just like fresh, flavorful homemade cakes! We stayed at the smaller cabin the very beginning of June and dined at the restaurant as well. This was truly a unique stay and... dining experience. The food and service were terrific. (I believe our server's name was Emma? and we thank you). The owner,Yvonne, was also terrific and made us (as well as everyone else) feel so welcome. I would return in a heartbeat!
