Really great wines! Their Malbec, Petite Verdot and their Bordeaux blend are some of our favorites. But all of their wines are... very good. State 42 offers a wide range of wines that are created from organic WASHINGTON grapes - Gretchen and her husband have... meticulously created delicious wines including one, very unique one - the Skin Contact Pinos Gris which is absolutely delicious. Not only that, but I rarely find a Chardonnay that I can appreciate but I really love theirs. All their red wines aredelicious - I buy the Malbec most frequently but many of their winners are sold out - the benefits and detriments of makingsmall batch wines. I understand that wines are completely individual preference... like art. So there's no right or wrong. But when you combine their quality wines with the Gretchen and Kathy's loving attention to knowing and caring for theircustomers and "Tribe", they have earned my loyalty. Read more

We love out new wine tasting room in Poulsbo. We waited a long time but it was totally worth it. The tasting room is decorated... with murals made by the owner and her mother. The wines are great and I think will improve over time. The Chardonnay is myfavorite. The owners are welcoming and have worked very hard to produce quality wines. The wine club is a bargain so get on thewaiting list to join Club 42! Read more
Absolutely enjoyed our wine tasting here yesterday afternoon. All five of the red wines my husband tasted he loved and he?s... usually pretty picky about what he likes.
