I recently called to make a reservation for a small dinner party for 12 people and spoke to the owner and asked if we could do... separate checks. There are people that drink and some that dont. There are some that have dessert and some don?t. I was told nocan?t do it. I was told we are not a diner and we won?t do it. I was in such shock. I said you are willing to give up a $700.00bill and she said yes again I was shocked again and said wow I cancelled the reservation. It amazed me that in this economy thatyour restaurant can afford to do that. The business must be doing great. Lol lol. I will never step foot in that restaurantagain. I want to add that we ended up going ago Jason Patrick?s and they were happy to accommodate us with separate checks. Read more

Fantastic find in Poughkeepsie NY. Owner Lauren greeted our party of 6 at the door friendly and kind. Our table was spacious and... comfortable. Martinis are fabulous, warm rolls decadent. I had reservations at 6:30p. Party of 3 arrived @6:25p. I was told the table we were assigned to had people still dining there... the hostess apologized but was not sure how long we had to wait. We asked about another table & were told this was our assignedtable. The hostess told us the table in the bar area available but the bar was already crowded so didn?t want people on top ofus while dining. We asked wasn?t there another table for us even upstairs I was told all full there. We waited 30 minutes to beseated while standing by the door since there was no other place to wait. The meal was ok but nothing I would rave about afterwaiting that long. Two people had the 16 oz sirloin only included either one type of potato courgette or a vegetable not both.The potato courgette was cold. There was a salad included. The rolls were very hard. I?ve never been to a restaurant where I hadto wait that long with reservations. It was very disappointing. On a positive note the waiter was very attentive to us, polite &courteous. Read more

We had dinner at J. Domenick?s last evening with family from CT. Previously we have always had a delicious meal and great... service here. We were very dissalojnted with our food last evening. My crabmeat stuffed filet of sole tasted very fishy alongwith the so called crab meat stuffing hardly containing any crabmeat, mainly bread crumbs. I barely got through a quarter of themeal and wouldn?t eat anymore and spoke to the waitress about this. Another family member had the stuffed crab meat shrimp dishand again the shrimp was like rubber with no crab meat in the stuffing. A third family member had veal parmigiana dinner andsaid the tomato sauce was very watery, not good for the money that we were paying Unfortunately the quality of the food was notup to our expectations at all, which disappointed us as long time customers of J. Domenick?s. We were also surprised that aManager didn?t even come out to apologize for the issue of our food. Read more

I recommend reservations,luckily we were there early and took us. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was... beyond impressed! The food,the drinks and even the bread with the delicious garlic spread was superb.The staff was very friendlyand was great at topping off drinks. I ordered the stuffed shrimp over mushroom risotto and it was devine with the drink Iordered. I loved this restaurant and definitely will be returning to try new dishes! Read more

Terrible service here, from the food, to the rude owner. To the horrible wait times to even get an appetizer. 2 hours to get our... dinner for 3. What a shame. Also, the prices are high for the low quality of food. Chicken felt like rubber. Don?t recommendcoming to this horrible place. Read more

My party arrived at 6pm on a Friday. The food was ok. WAY too much oil in the salad and on the special chicken I had. Prices too... high for food quality. My party sat outside which was nice because it was a beautiful evening. The music on the patio was soloud that we had to shout to barely hear each other. Two requests to turn the music down got it to a level where we just had tolisten very closely. As one person said, learn to read lips before you go. We were seated far from the speakers. Service wasaverage. The chairs on the patio are very uncomfortable and not appropriate for dining seating. I doubt I will ever go back. Read more
