I’ve tried many of the Jamaican establishments in dutchess county but none have come even close to the amazing food i indulged... in at Empire. The owner, Michelle, was so welcoming and you can tell she takes great pride in what she cooks. I had Jerk chickenwhich was so tender, the best plantains, rice and veggies. It was so good I had to go back the next day and bring my man with me. The first day I had the curry chic peas, white rice,... cabbage and plantain. The... ambiance is beautiful, staff is pleasant and of course the food was awesome. We started off with the bite size vegan dish andwonderful watermelon salad.\nMy husband and enjoyed the delicious and very succulent oxtail with the tasteful rice and peas. The food is AWESOME. I ordered the salmon with mash potatoes and asparagus..I loved it????the taste was AMAZING. I went back on... 5/16 and ordered the goat with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains..delicious.
