I picked up food from here and was surprised by the inside, it looked really nice. Anyway, I picked up my order and on the... drive home I could smell how good the food smelled. It was sooo good, the French fries reminded me of L.A. fries. Overall foodwas good, service was good and vibe at the diner was good. Read more
1st time visiting and I give it a solid 4! Wish I would have taken pictures. Favorites included the wings, cauliflower bites,... and fries. Loved the old time atmosphere. Vintage car shows the last Wednesday of each month. Will definitely be back to tryother menu items and maybe breakfast. Read more
Probably won?t order from them again. My wings were good but thank goodness I ordered them. I also ordered half a ham and cheese... sandwich and lobster bisque but my bisque was a strange consistency. Very thick and bland. The sandwich was fresh but just okay. Read more
Wow! I was so surprised as to how good the food was. I ordered the special which was clams, mussels, shrimp and crab meat pasta... it came with fresh home made garlic bread, and a salad!! I've driving by the sign Hilltop Hamburgers for a couple of years and I always said on day I'm gonna stop in and have a bite to... eat. Well I'm glad I did. The food is really good. We ordered up a couple of burgers, a club sandwich and some sodas and ourbill came to thirty two dollars and some change. The dinner itself has a retro feel, it looks like something out of the nineteenfifties, the place was clean and quiet with a decent size dinning area. The waitresses moved fast and we're courteous with thecustomers. Located on a stretch of road in Pottstown Pa. Stop by and give this place a try. Read more
Hilltop has gone thru several owners over it's long local history. The menu here is diverse in price range. It still has the... lower cost menu items and in addition now has higher cost platters of "fancy" dishes. So far our 3 visits there I have notgotten any $20 platters to try. I and my husband both have stuck more to sandwiches for the sole reason that we love theirFrench fries!! They are the style of 5 Guys and rare to find elsewhere. We've done their Caesar Wraps, Steak & Pulled Pork,Reuben S/W. All were very filling & tasty! We look forward to trying more menu items if we can just get past the need for theirFrench fries!
