Had a birthday dinner here. Service is outstanding! Staff is very polite and the food comes quickly. Chef was kind and gave us... a complementary roll with our order. I recommend making a reservation as it can fill up quickly! Date night, birthday andfamily gatherings are great here. I look forward to our next meal here! Thank you for your outstanding service! On a Wednesday evening, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Yirasai Sushi, which used to be located in Bethesda but relocated to... Park Potomac in April 2022. For drinks, my boyfriend enjoyed an Asahi while I enjoyed hot Japanese green tea. For dinner, weshared a Sunomono Salad, Yakisoba with Chicken, Hawaiian Sunset Roll, and Seafood Combo Tempura Roll. Our order came with twoMiso Soups and a House Salad with a ginger dressing. The Sunomono consisted of cucumber salad, shrimp, octopus, and crab servedin a sweet vinegar sauce topped with seaweed salad. The Yakisoba consisted of pan grilled thin Japanese noodles stirfried withassorted vegetables and chicken breast in a Yakisoba sauce made with a Japanese 7-spice blend. It reminded my boyfriend of theYakisoba he had in Japan. The Hawaiian Sunset Roll consisted of a crab and cucumber roll topped with salmon, avocado, andcrushed pineapple. I discovered that I love pineapple on sushi! The Seafood Combo Tempura Roll consisted of a roll stuffed withan assortment of seafood (including salmon, crab, shrimp, and red snapper) tempura and finished with an eel saucedrizzle. Towards the end of our meal, each of us received complimentary Soybean roll, which consisted of a beancurd wrappedavocado roll topped with a spicy mayo and tempura bits. By the end of our meal, our stomachs were satisfied. However, ourserver gave us our check before asking if we wanted dessert. Read more
I was so sad when this place closed down at westbard. Thank goodness they reopened at the park Potomac location! You will always... get fresh cuts of sushi along with a welcoming atmosphere. The quality of food is excellent, the staff are so kind and humble, and they are very thoughtful with packaging food to go. The new location is much more spacious than the old one and I'm excitedto see how well they do in this area! Read more
Sushi is good, fish tastes fresh. Friendly owners. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable. The volcano roll was a little... disappointing. It's a good size. The nori was softened by the rice resulting in a chewy bite. Rice in general could use a littleless moisture for an al dente texture. Rice flavor is good balance of acid, salt, and sweetness. Great to have them here in the neighborhood! Haven?t had a sushi place so close so we?re very glad their here and tried them... today - food was very good, we especially loved the appetizers. We came at 3pm so there wasn?t anyone here, because of that wedidn?t get a great read on the atmosphere, but the service was great and everything we tried was delicious. We will definitelybe back! The price was just right and the quality was fresh. I am so glad they moved to their new location because it is so combiner to... get to and plenty of parking nearby. I would 100% order again. The service was also fast. I did order take out and plated itwhen I got home, but I am sure the food looks even better when you get it there. Read more

Nice place, friendly people. They open at noon on Saturday. I arrived a few minutes early and was able to enter and was seated... immediately. I saw three busy chefs preparing sushi behind the counter. The restaurant is easy to find. If you can findHarris Teeter, you can find Yirasai. It is next door. The food was great. Christmas music was paly in the background, NatKing Cole and Michael Bublé. Check it out. Enjoy! Read more
