Fire Wok and it?s staff, especially Anson, have been a wonderful addition to the Potomac village. I come from a customer service... background myself, and almost every week and even sometimes twice a week I come back not just for the delicious food and drinkbut for the people! The interior decoration is stunning and really transports and prepares you for really good Chinese food(which is hard to find in the area). I went in to place a order everything was going fine the lady was very nice waited approximately what they told me. Received my... food and wasn?t thinking much of it have gotten there dumplings and sushi before and have been pretty good. But this time Iordered the Tom yum soup one of my favorite Asian dishes. Got home opened it up and some how after just ordering was alreadyluke warm. The broth was not like how I?ve had before almost tasting more similar to chicken stock. But could almost get overit then I tasted the chicken it had a gummy consistency was ridiculously soft and tasted like the soup and been frozen andthawed out. I couldn?t even finish it and when I tried to call and complain I tried them for 20 min with no answer. I know thephone works they were making calls and taking them while I was there. this is one of the BEST!! Chinese food i had in Potomac area, it's very hard to do Chinese food well but THIS place is it, they... also started doing Sushi and it is phenomenal!!! regardless of them not doing dine-in, the service is 10/10 and the food isimmaculate!!! Read more
If I could leave less than 1 star I would? I ordered sushi from this place for Mother?s Day through Uber eats and they sent the... wrong sushi , which was for my wife. I called and asked if they could resend the correct sushi that I ordered. Instead ofapologizing the girl on the phone decided to argue with me saying that I was mistaken. In order for her to believe me she mademe take a photo and text it to her, which I did. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And bad taste! Then after she took a while todetermine I was correct, she then says she can?t help us because we ordered through Uber eats. So then I proposed that I ordersomething else from their menu and asked them to send the sushi roll complimentary along with it. She then said ?okay that?sfine?.? When I was about to order she then says, ?oh actually it?s a $20 minimum? ? so then I said okay I?ll do $20 minimum shethen asks for my address and then says ?oh you?re actually outside our delivery range of 4 miles? (by the way I live 4.3 milesaway exactly and order from this place pretty regularly for a family of 5, as I am a local). After pleading with her, she keptsticking to her policy and I got frustrated and hung up. My wife couldn?t believe it so she called back and the lady changed hermind and said ?oh it?s because we don?t have enough drivers?. Complete BS. This place has the WORST customer service andoffensive considering its location. IF it wasn?t the ONLY decent Chinese restaurant in Potomac area, I would never order fromthem again. Read more
Ordered from here on uber eats, received the order half open with the tofu falling out of the box due to the poor tin foil... wrapped food. Why was it even wrapped in tin foil when the box cover was in the tin foil, under the box itself??? Gross andunsanitary. Update: really appreciate firewok responding and explaining the packaging of the food. Tofu was very good andfluffy. Read more
