Pretty sure India House is the best Indian Food in at least a 100 MILE RADIUS. It's absolutely authentic and mouthwateringly... delicious. This stuff is the real deal. Heavenly. Only warning - our (USA) idea of spice is not the Indian idea. Therefore 1-5spice levels, with 5 being the spiciest, reads to the average American who is NOT used to spices as this: 1: barely spicy at all2: hot 3: super super hot 4: unbearably hot 5: death by fire. This place was so good. They have a huge menu to pick from and you will not be disappointed. They make fresh naan bread in about... 10ish different flavors. I got the chicken poprika, and it was seriously one of the best dishes I've ever had. The other dish wehad was ginger chicke, which was amazing as well. The waiter was unfriendly when we arrived. He brought us our entree and nan and disappeared. Finally comes back and we ask for... our rice. He said it's not ready it will come in 5 or so more minutes. I said our food is getting cold while we wait. He saidrice is complimentary and not part of the entree. He then told me to dip my nan in the entree while I wait. He came with therice and a water container and never came back. All the dishes, appetizer, nan basket, etc in these pictures were in front or usthe whole time we ate. We sat waiting for the check for a long while. He finally brought it. We asked for a to-go box. Hedidn't bring that. We were tired of waiting and got up to leave. I told him he should be embarrassed. He said he was shortstaffed and he did his best. There were 4 tables seated in the restaurant counting us. He wasn't busy and the other tables wereall checked on and served. Yes we noticed as we kept waiting for him to come back. We have come here often and have enjoyed it.Pretty sad this happened. The waiter is owner or is family to the owner. His face is on the wall. He SHOULD be embarrassed. Read more
Excellent Indian food. They also have an great vegetarian selection. The pricing is comparable to Bardanay's or Outback. The... location is not what you would expect, but the food an the service are excellent. Read more
Without a doubt one of the best Indian food options in the entire east Washington/ Spokane/ CDA area. We’ve tried the food... here a couple of times. The aloo parantha left a lot to be desired. Dal makhani (classic North Indian dish) wasn’t somethingwe’ll try again. Spring rolls were just okay. Now to the best part: the paneer dishes are good (we’ve tried tikka masala andpaneer bhuna), chicken dishes are good and so was the fresh garlic naan. 5 stars because of the friendly service and the entireoperation. Exceptional food and service to match. I've now been to India House 3 times and absolutely amazed at the quality and... consistency of the food. I've had the Mushroom Shrimp (medium heat), mushroom fish (mild Heat) and tandoori shrimp (Hot heat)and have been absolutely blown away by the complexity of flavors. If you've never tried Indian food this is a fantasticopportunity to dip your toe into a world of spices and flavor different from anything you've had before. First time trying Indian Cuisine! First impressions were great! The food was delicious ! Loved the atmosphere and dessert as... well! The food came out quickly and the garlic Naan was ????. We tried the Chili Gobhi Appetizer, Butter Chicken , GingerChicken that both came with rice. Some Garlic Naan and the Gulab Jamun dessert. I saw an area for a buffet but I don't thinkit's available right now. That would be exciting! Read more
