We stopped by after a soccer game and were so impressed by the quality of the food and portion sizes! The chips were thin and... perfectly crispy. The group ordered carne asada, steak fajitas, carnitas, kids chicken burrito, and carnitas burrito. Everythingwas cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure to keep our drinks full and recommended an amazingdessert. Easily 5 stars! Read more

On any other given day I'd give this place a 10 star review. Love the food an generally the service is amazing! I understand we... all have our moments and days but the waitress this morning was completely out of control attitude heavy footed short with youand gave me food no silverware ignored me when I asked. The two ladies that were working were very unwelcoming and I was not theonly customer to fill that way the poor people behind me had worse spilled salsa all over her. I eat here 3 times a week and nowI'm questioning if I'll be back.. Read more

We ordered takeout, perhaps they are better dine in, but I won't be finding out. The portions were laughable. $15 for carne... asada, and it comes on a large tray, but its a trick. A few small strips of (very salty but otherwise bland) steak, rice andbeans (spread thinly to make it look like more than it is. Both out meals were cold. Very disappointing Read more

This place has the best tortilla chips ever, the salsa was great as well. I had the flautas and they had amazing flavor and all... meat ???? just the way I like it, no fillers like potatoes and carrots. Refried beans and rice were so good. The service wasgreat very friendly and attentive. I gave a 4 star only because I was taken back by the green sauce served with my flautas wascold it just didn't go with my meal. However I explained that to the server and she brought me a side of warm sauce and it wasperfect, I don't know why the first was cold. Other than that we will be going back and I will just ask for warm sauce nexttime. Read more

We were craving Mexican food, and we loved El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant in Post Falls. The place is cute, comfortable and we... were immediately seated with a basket of home made, fresh tortilla chips and salsas. Dangerous to put a basket of chips in frontof a hungry man! Lol The food was all amazing, not heavy, flavorful and good portions. The rice and beans in addition weresome of the best I had with my Enchiladas. Guacamole was creamy and perfect also. The best part, the service was always checkingin, always offering options and making sure we ate well. I love that. Highly recommend the entire menu, plus the peachMargarita!! Read more

I enjoy El Ranchero. I like to order the El Ranchero burrito with chicken or the two chicken tacos with rice and beans. I asked... for no onion but got onions in my burrito. The food always comes really hot and tastes really good except the refried beans. They need to add some kind of seasoning to the refried beans. The rice is very tasty and has good texture. It was busy in therestaurant tonight but it didn't take long to get our food. We also ordered huevos rancheros but she brought that out 10-12minutes after she brought out our other orders. Also, the huevos rancheros came with lots of onions, bell peppers, and tomatoeson top instead of chili Verde pork. Our waitress did a great job. She apologized for the delayed huevos rancheros and assured usit was on its way. She kept out drinks filled and checked on us multiple times. The chips and salsa were good but chips arebetter when they're fresh and warm. The seats are comfortable and they have plenty of seating inside available. The parking lothas limited parking so overflow parking is in the dirt parking lot to the East of the restaurant. We ordered four entrées and asprite and the bill was $60. So $15 per entrée is at current market value. The place was clean and maintained to my eye and Idid see them sanitize/wiped down ever table after every customer. Read more
