The food was amazing!!! The greeter/chef/owner was really nice and answered any questions we had. The portion sizes were... plentiful. Pictured are the food we ordered. I wanted something good and fulfilling to eat after a long day of moving, Sistas Soul Cafe provided that! I was pleased with ALL... of my food. Sistas Soul Cafe hits like a frieght train yet again! This is my 3rd visit and this time for the Shrimp and Grits. Grits were... creamy, shrimps were plenty and well seasoned and sautéed with all the love and soul Madame Chef could muster. Had to finishit off with that slice of banana pudding cheesecake. Service is great. I love the collard green egg rolls the salmon rolls are good too. I wasn\'t a fan of the fried pork chops.... I\'ve heard good things about the turkey wings. I\'d like to try the dessert but forget because I be so ready to get themcollard green egg rolls home with the sauce ????\nI hope they last. Read more
I am sad. I was so looking forward to soul food today. Unfortunately my meal was not edible.\nI mean I could have eaten it but I... would have regretted it for sure?. It was not good. Here is my review of the food:\n\nFried chicken: Taste like 7-11 chicken inthe glass case at the counter. The kind that comes pre-breaded and frozen and you just put in some sort of toaster oven. (Ishould\'ve known when I was asked if I want my fried chicken breaded?) I was expecting real wings????\n\nMac&Chz: It wasoverexposed to heat and lots of oil separated from the cheese so it was super greasy. It was not edible for me as it was justtoo greasy with bits of separated cheese all through it. I don\'t imagine it was made today and possibly reheated..?\n\nPotatosalad: Tasted suspiciously store bought. No love in it.\n\nCollard greens: No seasoning. Very bland.\n\nCornbread: I know \"we\"like our cornbread sweet, however it literally tasted like a cupcake. No corn taste at all, not suitable to eat withgreens.\n\nI paid $16 plus tip and I am sorely disappointed. I will say thank you for presenting a clean, cool, safe and nicelydecorated environment with good service. However I feel so slighted that I could not give the same review as others. Perhapsyour specialty is fried fish? This was my first time here. When you walk in there are beautiful pictures on the wall. There is a selfie backdrop, if you want... to take a picture. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the collard green egg rolls. I spent $31 and it was definitelyworth it! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. My only issue was that there is no menu online. I tend to fake alongto order lol. So if I can the menu before I get there it?s great. I?ll definitely be a happy repeat customer. Read more
I was on vacation and I had to check out Sista\'s Soul Cafe. The food was absolutely amazing, the special sista sauce enhances... the seafood. The collard green and salmon egg rolls were an added treat. Finally the banana pudding cheesecake is very creamy,fluffy and mouth watering. Read more
The collard green egg rolls alone are worth the trip to this place! They serve them up with a very tasty \"sista sauce\". These... egg rolls are very delicious! I also had the shrimp and fries. The shrimp were definitely large to extra large and they areperfectly seasoned with a proper amount of amazing seasoning. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not trying this placeout.
