I love diners, and this diner was suggested. It has a homey slightly nautical atmosphere. However I was not impressed by the... food served. The egg breakfast I ordered arrived with bread scraped over with unmelted butter (a pet peeve of mine). The eggsand sausage were nice. The pancakes however were very disappointing. They had a strange chemical taste like the ones you get atcontinental breakfast at a cheap hotel. There are other options around the island that do it better. This was my second time visiting this place for breakfast. The first time I came, we sat right away, got our drinks, then the... waitress forgot to take our order. 45 minutes after we got our drinks, she finally came for our food order. It tookapproximately another 45 minutes to get our food, which was excellent. We decided to give it a secone chance, big mistake. Air conditinong in this place was not working. It is 100 degrees outside. I ask for soda refill to stay cool but never got it. ... 30 minutes lunch would of been tolerable but service took one hour. Fried chicken sandwich was good but i could not eat itbecause of heat and no drink. Read more

I found this restaurant on my visit to RI. The place was packed. The food tasted good - I had the marinated tips, Cape Cod... pancakes, and the English Waffle. The Marinated tips was pretty good but the pancakes came in cold and the English Waffle wasburned. The wait time was over 30 minutes and at no time the waiter came to us to apologize for the delay, even though many thatcame after us were gone by the time our food was served. I had to ask another waitress for syrup because my waitress wouldn?tcome around. The restaurant emptied out pretty much but I was still there waiting for 10 minutes for them to charge my creditcard.
