I?m so happy the Portsmouth location is now open. I?ve been to the Exeter location but Portsmouth is closer. Yesterday?s lunch... was great. I?m now addicted to the new portobello sub. Lots of mushrooms making it a filling vegetarian meal. The staff isalways cheery. I complemented a young man, Charlie, as I stood in line at the excellent job he was doing on the grill. He wasvery efficient and as soon as his grill was cleared of orders, he was scraping it clean. If only all employees had thatdedication to their job. Read more
My second time at the newly opened Jersey Mikes in Portsmouth nh. We are regular customers frequently using the Exeter store.... Tonight I ordered 4 subs & if you remember the add ?where?s the beef?? We were there a couple of months ago, and so excited to try the new Portsmouth location?and boy do we regret it. The sandwiches... were okay, but the service was trash. I have never ordered food from an environment where the staff were rude, and almostangry/inconvenienced that you are ordering from them. The blonde girl working there was incredibly rude, you could tell shehates her job. I?m sorry but you shouldn?t work in food service, if you hate customers. Then there was ?Matt? I believe his namewas? who couldn?t have been ?nicer? to our face. However, my husband had to return a few minutes later because they made hissandwich incorrectly, and he witnessed Matt talking down, and was borderline verbally abusive towards his employees. No employershould ever treat an employee like that, especially during business hours. Needless to say we won?t be returning. We?ll continueto go to Moe?s, where we?re greeted with smiles and kindness. Read more
