I was shocked to see this place only has a 3.7 star rating! I know they?ve been had to navigate some unexpected crises in recent... years like a big flooding issue. It?s my last day in Portland after 7 years and I?m planning to order food from Za?atar as mylast meal in this amazing foodie town. Some of the best Middle Eastern food I?ve had, and such a welcoming and kind family thatowns it. It?s also great if you have allergies (I can?t do diary or gluten) ? they have delicious gluten-free falafel and pitathat you must try if you are dietarily unpaired. :) Read more

Chicken wrap was a huge disappointment. The chicken was barely warm, the fries (seemed weird to me) in the wrap were soggy and... the taste overall was just mediocre. They charge an extra dollar to add Tzatziki sauce. My $11 dollars could have been betterspent for sure! Read more

I've only been to the portland food hall location. I love their food! Been looking for good, quick lebanese in portland and it... is hard to find. For a lunch break, it is pretty pricey compared to other options downtown... even in the food hall. If you canget past the price, they have great flavors and fresh ingredients. Read more

What a bummer. This place is so close to my work. had the chicken shawarma wrap. Says it has fries in it in the description. No... fries. Chicken was from a steam tray, so any texture from the grill or spit was gone and the flavor, although it has all thebasic flavors, gets watered down in the gray, steamed meat. Pita tasted like it was from a bag. Not worth the price. So manyMediterranean choices downtown, and this one is low on the list. Read more

This place has solid wraps, but I should not be paying $6 to add a side of soggy fries especially when the portion is measly.
