Greeted by friendly woman immediately upon entering who very patiently waited for our order when we had decided. We sat at a... table in the dining room and our meal was brought to us. Steaming hot and generous portions. The aroma was pleasant.Everything was so clean, you would think the business opened for the first day today. Food was delicious and authentic, traditional cuisine. . . Not at all like I expected. Definitely a first visit of many future encounters. Rarely do I everrecommend a place to enjoy lunch or dinner. I'll go a step above that and recommend eating any time you get hungry and thekitchen is open. Read more

Great little noodle shop on Alberta with very affordable prices. The noodles definitely look and taste like they are made... in-house and the portions are VERY generous. Most dishes are under $12. I tried the You Po and Sweet & Sour noodle bowls - bothdelicious! Super sweet front staff which makes me want to keep supporting their small business for years to come. Yum! Read more

8/2/2022: I really enjoyed the food here. The three of us ordered green onion pancake, dumplings in chili oil, wonton soup, crab... Rangoon, Mongolian noodles, vegetarian noodles, dan dan noodles, and fried rice. We enjoyed it all. My only big issue is theamount of waste. We dined in and everything was served on disposable ware. Very sad about that Read more

Tried the Mongolian stir fry noodles and it was excellent. The sauce was on point with a nice savory umami flavor that's not too... salty or too sweet, but bold flavored with good aroma. The cook on the noodle was perfect with the noodles not being soggy, butrather bouncy in nature. Can't wait to try the other dishes. Only reason not a five-star service is very lacking with theclerk not speaking one word. Read more

I ordered from this place 3 times in the past couple months. Each time, the quality went down a little bit. Today, I ordered... delivery and requested utensils. There was none so I couldn?t even eat my food during a short break. Not to mention, the noodlehad almost no taste. Barely any soy sauce in it. The fried rice from last time was really good. The texture and flavor were all5 stars. I ordered again today but it was dry. I wonder if there are different chefs on different days. How could qualityfluctuate that much? Won?t be ordering again, at least for a while. Read more

One of the best and most underrated restaurants you can go to on Alberta Street. The noodles are clearly house-made and the... sauces they use taste fantastic. I would highly recommend the Mongolian beef, they give you a pretty hearty portion of meat yetit does not overwhelm the noodles. There's quite a bit to offer on the menu, including milk tea. The interior is clean andservice is nice and fast. Read more

I absolutely love Yang's Noodles! Easily one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in Portland, and frequently a go-to choice,... if I am hungry in Northeast. Fresh, chewy noodles, excellent sauces, and friendly, fast service, every time! Pictured, are theKung Pao Chicken Noodle (udon), the Sweet and Sour Chicken Noodle (udon) and the Mongolian Beef Noodle (chow mein). I have beentold that any of their noodle dishes can be ordered with either chow mein (wide/ribbon) or udon noodles (thick, chewy strings).I think I slightly prefer the chewiness of the udon, but I believe the chow mein may travel / keep better, if you orderdelivery. Yang's currently has two locations - this one on NE Alberta Street, and another in West Linn. This is an exceptionalchoice for anyone who wants to shop local, eat local, support small businesses and support AAPI owned businesses!
