Reviews for UPSIDE DOWN in Portland, OR
This place use to be down the street from my apartment and I miss it soooooooo much! Such great food! Hope to be back soon!
The good is good but they dump everything in so much oil that it made me sick. I regret getting this quesadilla. The thing is it... doesn't have to be this oily to taste good. Also, the music was soo loud that the employee couldn't hear what I was ordering.Anyways, their food is good but they should go easy on the oil Read more
SE Portland's best kept secret. Amazing food by a well known chef, fresh local ingredients and super welcoming. Make a detour... and come here for all the eats. Outside seating. Picture is of breakfast tacos and michelada. And the most amazing casadilla.Vámanos rápido! Read more
Love this local place. Brilliant place to watch soccer games! Best fries, I grew up in Ireland closest to real chips I've had in... the states. Food has great flavor very distinctive and enjoyable! Read more
This place is the best. I usually get the burritos which are insanely delicious. They are simple, each ingredient is cooked to... perfection, and there are a few special ingredients as well, like the super yummy roasted peppers, braised kale and cabbage. Theservice is also awesome and the people who work there are super sweet. I eat here every week, sometimes a few days in a row. Theportions are healthy, but I am never left with the "gut bomb" feeling. Also, beer to go! 5 stars isn't enough. Thanks forfeeding us through the pandemic! Read more
Did not disappoint. The daily special (summer veggie/squash quesadilla) was FIRE
Lived up to the reviews. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable. Small batch, fresh salsa. Everything made fresh.
Upside Down is incredibly delicious. Everything I've eaten here is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The current seasonal white... chanterelle mushroom soup is one of the best bowls of soup I've ever eaten. The creamy, thick texture with a drizzle of oliveoil and chimichurri, on top of the crunch of golden brown toast, is cold weather heaven. Also, if you miss the adobado tacoyou're missing one of the greatest tacos in Portland. In fact, get two! Read more
